The homework that is secretly a snake

For the last few nights (but what actually feels like weeks) I have started learning how to write bits and pieces of Python, by staring down the gauntlet of a course innocently named "100 Days of Code".

I'm not a developer, I just like figuring out how things work, and with my burgeoning new role at work, understanding code, syntax, and common programming language bits and pieces is something that I will need to do in order to succeed.

The hard part is applying it to real world objects.

In just five short days, the course I'm following has made me think about things in new and interesting ways, as well as giving me just enough of an understanding and an appetite to BUIDL.

I must have endurance for this challenge though, as each day introduces new concepts, while forcing you to build upon the knowledge you've already established.

There's some brain-bending problem solving exercises to ensure elegant solutions are created, and for once in my life, its really a moment where the joy of learning, and the spark of understanding starts to go off in my mind.

I can't remember the last time I felt that way.

Keep learning new things, and keep improving yourself. At the same time, be accountable to no one other than yourself. Until people are prepared to shower you with recompense, at least.

As a result of this new found hobby and self-inflicted homework, please forgive me if my daily streams ... aren't. I'm focusing on things that will make me a better human and allow me to be a jackass of all trades - dangerously competent in as much as possible, while never professing to be an expert.
