Kipsdorf is a small area in Saxony, a spa town, where once people would travel to "take the waters", travelling on the narrow gauge railway, constructed in 1893. through the Ore Mountains.
Kipsdorf became a popular place for visitors, the population now is circa 300. In 1910, Kipsdorf was welcoming 10,000 visitors a year. How times change.

C'mon, lets check in
Tradesman's entrance for us alas, and mind your head on the low ceiling
The once grand dining room immortalised on a post card
I do not know when the Hotel was last in use but without question it is beyond saving, with collapsed floors and an ever declining local population , sadly it will live its former glory, alone.
Where once folk would waltz into the early hours, now only strangers like me walk the parquet floor, dancing with the ghosts of the past.
Take me to your bedroom lets continue the dance mein kleines Stückchen Flaum.
Guess postcards of bedrooms were not the thing to produce
So there we have it, a lovely time in a lovely hotel, albeit, a complete DERP.
