Hi, dear friends at Hive #openmic Community. Today the music concert in this community has entered its 122nd week with the theme Emotion chosen by @sunsethunter. For me, this is an interesting theme but also difficult. I don't understand the definition of Emotion, so I have to google it and look for the definition of emotion. It turns out that there are so many meanings and definitions of emotion on the internet. But I opted for an easy-to-understand one sourced from Wikipedia.

Emotions are intense feelings directed toward someone or something. Emotions are reactions to a person or event. Emotions can be shown when feeling happy about something, angry at someone, or afraid of something. Most experts believe that emotions are more fleeting than moods. From the above understanding, my friend and I chose a song called “Don't look back in anger” which was created and popularized by a famous band called OASIS. Although this song has been released for a long time, the song by Oasis is still popular and is heard by many people to this day. The reason we chose this song is that in our opinion, this song is about someone who already has a future, but often still thinks about his past with anger. Don't Look Back In Anger is one of the songs from oasis' second album entitled (What's the Story) Morning Glory? The lyrics of the song Don't Look Back In Anger also contain about how we don't get angry when we look at the past.

Song lyrics;

"Slip inside the eye of your mind
Don't you know you might find
A better place to play
You said that you'd never been
But all the things that you've seen
Slowly fade away

So I start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside, summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
You ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

And so Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say

Take me to the place where you go
Where nobody knows
If it's night or day
But please don't put your life in the hands
Of a rock and roll band
Who'll throw it all away

I'm gonna start a revolution from my bed
'Cause you said the brains I had went to my head
Step outside 'cause summertime's in bloom
Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face
'Cause you ain't ever gonna burn my heart out

And so Sally can wait
She knows it's too late
As she's walking on by
My soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say"

The lyrics are taken from azlyrics.com

This song is legendary. Everyone who listens to this song will be very attached to his mind. This song can be translated and interpreted by everyone with different views. But in essence, this song is trying to convey to us that we should not be immersed in anger, sadness, resentment, and other negative feelings. Therefore we must be able to rise from the past that we consider dark.

Below we also provide a link from their youtube video if you want to listen to the song from the original version. Thank you and nice to meet you.
