Hello friends! How are you? How are they? I hope that very good. I don't know if I've told you before, but my older brother is a drummer. He took all the artistic part of the family haha and learned to play the drums when he was just a teenager, he learned by ear since no one in my family plays that instrument! and over the years he perfected his technique, going from being a student to a teacher. Also, he had many bands, and of course we as a family were always there to support him in his musical projects. For this reason, on 7/5 he appeared with his new band called Yokoy and together with family and friends we were there to witness the show. I'm going to share some photos and videos that I took for you to see.
Hola amigos! como se encuentran? espero que muy bien. No se si anteriormente les he contado, pero mi hermano mayor es baterista. El sacó toda la parte artistica de la familia jaja y aprendió a tocar la bateria cuando era tan solo un adolescente, aprendió de oído ya que nadie en mi familia toca ese instrumento! y con el pasar de los años se fue perfeccionando en su tecnica, pasando de ser alumno a profesor. Ademas, tuvo muchas bandas, y por supuesto que nosotros como familia siempre estuvimos ahí para apoyarlo en sus proyectos musicales. Por ese motivo, el día 7/5 se presentó con su nueva banda llamada Yokoy y junto a familia y amigos estuvimos ahí presenciando el show. Voy a compartirles algunas fotos y videos que tomé para que ustedes vean.
The band performed at a music club in the city of Buenos Aires called Marquee, where the main show of the night was Yokoy and they had two opening bands called Foolanas and Dik. These bands are of the same musical style, therefore it was an exclusive alternative rock date.
La banda se presentó en un club de musica de la ciudad de Buenos Aires llamado Marquee, donde el principal show de la noche era Yokoy y contaban con dos bandas teloneras llamadas Foolanas y Dik. Éstas bandas son del mismo estilo musical, por ende era una fecha exclusiva de rock alternativo.
Unfortunately we missed the opening bands for arriving on time, we had to wait for my dad to get off work, so we arrived just as they were starting to test sound.
Lamentablemente nos perdimos las bandas teloneras por llegar sobre la hora, teniamos que esperar a mi papá a que salga de trabajar, asi que llegamos justo cuando estaban comenzando a probar sonido.
The good thing was that we didn't have to wait long, they tested sound and the show started! I leave you here below some pictures that I took and a video of some of the songs that I liked the most, it sounds very good on the album and it sounded very strong live.
Lo bueno fue que no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo, probaron sonido y comenzó el show! Les dejo aqui abajo algunas fotografias que tomé y un video de unos de los temas que más me gustó, suena muy bien en el album y sonó muy fuerte en vivo.
I don't know what to say, because I am really shocked when I see my brother play the drums. Actually that happens to me with any musician I see playing live, I find it incredible how they can create MUSIC with their own HANDS. Are we sure that these talented people are humans from this earth?
No se que decir, porque realmente me quedo impactada cuando veo a mi hermano tocar la bateria. En realidad me pasa eso con cualquier musico que veo tocando en vivo, me resulta increible como pueden crear MUSICA con sus propias MANOS. Estamos seguros de que éstas personas talentosas son humanos de ésta tierra?
The show was crazy, it's a band that has their own songs and released their first album very recently. In the public we were more than anything friends and family of all the musicians, and people who came to support the opening bands and stayed to see the main show. I am sure that little by little it will begin to fill with curious people and followers, because they have talent and good lyrics. My country is the cradle of great musicians and artists, so the market is very broad, little by little you have to begin to trace your own path and stand out with talent. It is not something that can be achieved quickly overnight but I am sure they will achieve it!
El show fue una locura, es una banda que tiene temas propios y lanzó su primer album hace muy poco. En el publico eramos mas que nada amigos y familiares de todos los musicos, y personas que vinieron a apoyar a las bandas teloneras y se quedaron a ver el show principal. Estoy segura que poco a poco se comenzará a llenar de curiosos y seguidores, porque tienen talento y buenas letras. Mi pais es cuna de grandes musicos y artistas asi que el mercado es muy amplio, poco a poco hay que comenzar a trazar tu propio camino y con talento destacar. No es algo que se consiga rapidamente de la noche a la mañana pero que estoy segura que lograran!
The recital lasted approximately 1 hour in which they left their lives on stage! they sang, they jumped, they encouraged the public, they shouted. It was really amazing guys! And I'm not saying this because my brother is the drummer haha, it was a great show. I hope you are encouraged to watch the videos because they are really worth it. El recital duró aproximadamente 1 hora en la que dejaron la vida arriba del escenario! cantaron, saltaron, alentaron al publico, gritaron. Fue realmente increible amigos! y no lo digo porque mi hermano sea el baterista jaja, fue un gran show. Espero que se animen a ver los videos porque realmente valen la pena.
