They call her the Pulchra Leonina

Miguel de Unamuno affirmed, in reference to this authentic medieval jewel that is the Cathedral of León, which was easy for him to read, a very incredible topic, especially for those who have not started in one of the noblest arts, such as the architecture.

Unamuno's easy vision possibly derives from that magnanimous seduction that always exists between a work of art and the viewer, releasing sensations that share the miracle of faith.

Because it was based on this, as the ancient guilds of medieval stonemasons, raised their gaze towards God, speaking the same language: that of Sacred Geometry.

One of the examples of that faith that moves mountains is this impressive cathedral, known by the name of Pulchra Leonina or loosely translated, the beautiful Leon, based on the origins of a city, which was born in the shadow of the Roman camps of the IX Gemina Legion.

Deep down, Unamuno's bold statement can be better understood, if we consider it made under his facet as a writer and going to the lifeline that metaphors are always, we think of it as a book open to everyone, whose chapters we have to reel off with the same fascination that a true bestseller can produce us.

And of course, in this particular case, those chapters have their own names: beauty, proportion, balance and measure.
