Hello, friends especially foodies!

Yesterday I have already told you that we had a very late lunch last Saturday so after that we then strolling around and after we finished from the book store we passed the bakery not far from it. They had an open concept of stall and there we went. Usually this bakery sold many snacks with healthy ingredients such as organic sugar, even some of their products are diabetics friendly.

It was almost 6 pm when we reached there and we were surprised because they had mostly of their product on sale with 20 % and 30% off.

From left they sold their lemper in banana leaves, they also had gethuk, lupis, arem-arem, pepe cake, cantik manis cake, lumping, bikang, pepes, fritter, layer cake, wajik cake, putu ayu, macaroni schotel, shewmay, yellow rice packages. They also sold some Indonesian authentic desserts such as biji salak, black glutinous porridge, and mung bean porridge. They also had some doughnuts on the right side, and also soes cake and mini roll cake. For the bread they also had diner roll, filling big bread, and also marble cake.

We picked what we wanted, a bit confused because they sold many kind of Indonesian snacks. Beside the sale items, they also had some other breads and also snacks that they didn’t discount that day.

I found the unique traditional crocodile bread which usually bring as the traditional wedding on my city, also this bakery had some cakes and puddings inside their chilled showing case. They had layer cakes, pudding, mini cakes, rum balls, tarts and also roll cakes there.

Time to pay, for the four items we bought it costed us 41,700 IDR after the discount so it was 2.84 USD for the things we bought. Oh yeah, near the cashier they had also a hot showing case where you could buy some fried snacks.

Now let me share to you what we bought that day, here they were

The takeaway we bought were:

Beef meatball bread which was mom’s. it had tasty beef filling with sweet savory flavour. The bread was soft. Have you tried beef meatball bread?
Then I had their macaroni schotel, it had too much chicken inside, a bit too dry, and not that delicious because it only had light savory flavour so I needed to put the sauce they gave to bring the spicy, sweet and sour flavour to my schotel. And last but not least was their chicken lemper (the only one I recommended from this bakery), it was their best because they put the chicken inside and glutinuous rice they used was tasty, soft and chewy. It had savory flavour and they made it without MSG, so it would be good also for our health.
