Hallo liebe Community,
nun ist es passiert. Corona ist in meiner Familie angekommen. Mein Sohn hat sich infiziert und wurde gestern per PCR Test positiv getestet. Nun liegt er mit Husten und Schnupfen auf der Couch und steht unter Quarantäne. Wir übrigen Familienmitglieder waren bisher bei allen Tests negativ und testen uns nun täglich im Schnelltestzentrum. Da wir alle geboostert sind, müssten wir nicht in Quarantäne und könnten zur Arbeit und Schule gehen. Da wir das aber für widersinnig halten, da ja auch geboosterte das Virus weitertragen können, haben wir uns jetzt erstmal selbst weg gesperrt und gehen nur zum Test raus. Denke es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis die Tests auch bei uns anschlagen.
Grundsätzlich mache ich mir jetzt keine Sorgen, da mit 3 Impfungen eigentlich nichts passieren dürfte hinsichtlich schwerem Verlauf. Auch gehört von uns keiner zu einer Risikogruppe und Omikron verläuft ja eh milder. Trotzdem ist es ein komisches ungutes Gefühl, das ich keinem wünsche.
Ich halte Euch über den weiteren Verlauf auf dem Laufenden.

Hello dear community,
now it happened. Corona has arrived in my family. My son got infected and tested positive yesterday by PCR test. Now he is lying on the couch with cough and cold and is under quarantine. The rest of us in the family have been negative on all tests so far and are now testing ourselves daily at the rapid testing center. Since we are all boostered, we would not have to be in quarantine and could go to work and school. But since we think this is absurd, since boostered people can also carry the virus, we have now locked ourselves away for the time being and only go out for testing. I think it is only a question of time until the tests will also work for us.
Basically I am not worried now, because with 3 vaccinations nothing should happen regarding a severe course. Also, none of us belongs to a risk group and Omikron is milder anyway. Nevertheless, it is a strange bad feeling, which I do not wish to anyone.
I will keep you informed about the further course.
