Welcome to this week's new CineTV Community Newspaper. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Now let's sit back and relax a bit with our weekly newspaper!

CINE COMMUNITY UPDATE

This week we start with a reminder for everyone. Our rare Video Vic card, released in conjunction with the Rising Star game! You can still buy this card on the Rising Star market, it will cost you 500 CINE tokens. But then you also have a real collector's item.

The last cards are currently on sale. And remember very carefully, if you want a card, you will have to take action NOW and buy it. Because once sold out, it is always sold out.

There will NEVER be more Video Vic cards printed. It's a once in a lifetime, if you're playing Rising Star, or if you want a collector's item that will definitely increase in value over time, NOW is the time to act. There are only few cards left.

Another thing we want to mention this week is the possibility to create NFTs on our CineTV frontend. What you need for this is... Yes, you guessed it, CINE tokens. So far there haven't been many people taking advantage of this opportunity. It's there for you and we are pleased to invite you all to use it!

Feel free to take a look at it, and explore the possibilities it can offer you. It can most certainly be more than worth it.

CINE CONTEST UPDATE

This week we don't have two, but only our regular contest for you. Let's talk about I'm sure you know plenty of movies set in space. Or films that do not take place directly in space, but do have a direct link with it. Like an all time classic "ET phone home". Well, I'll leave it up to you cinephiles to write blogs for this week's contest. Don't forget to check the contest rules before placing your entry. This week we're looking for your favorite space movie . You still have two days to participate in this contest. The submission deadline is Tuesday, 28th June, 2022, 11:59 PM, UTC time.

As you know by now, We love to read your personal stories, not only blogs written for the contest. Why is that one movie or series so special to you? What impact has it had on you? Did a movie or series change your mind about certain things? Just to name a few examples.

Now that we said that, let's move on!

And of course, feel free to browse over all blogs written under the #cinetv tag. There are so many awesome blogs, and if your blog is not highlighted that does not mean it is not awesome. We appreciate each and everone of you, who takes the effort to write up a unique, original blog with movie or tv-related content.

FIRST LOVE

Ah, who can't remember now. Your first love! The butterflies in your stomach, the uncertainty. And the first tough decisions you have to make. The overpowering feeling. Romance, but also sadness and financial drama. Everything is intertwined in this film.

Relive the feeling of your first love with this film about a first love. Embrace the young people who must learn to deal with these confusing feelings.

CRYO

Five scientists wake up from cryogenic sleep, but in this case, being awake seems even worse than the worst nightmare. The scientists are in an underground space, have no idea where they are, who they are or what time it is. The realization slowly awakens that they may have been test subjects for a scientific experiment that went wrong.

As if this isn't enough, all kinds of strange things happen and they are hunted. But by whom? They don't know by whom, nor why. The goal seems to be to kill them all, but who is the killer? Is he among them?

HARMONY

Sophia, a wounded soldier, suspects the medical facility she is in isn’t for her recovery, but something more devious. How is she going to find out, and deal with this?

MOVIE & CELEBRITY GOSSIPS

One of my favorite parts of the weekly newspaper. The juicy gossip! I can't help it, I think it's one of the "guilty pleasures", which I will never admit after today. Because like everyone else, I always pretend that I'm not interested in that at all.

  • You always have people who don't know how to give up. Sometimes you respect that, and sometimes it seems like a cry for attention. In the case of Amber Heard, I tend to think the latter. She wants to appeal against the ruling that she has to pay Johnny Depp such a mega amount. But is that even possible? According to her lawyer, Amber does not even have enough money to pay Johnny what the judge has ordered her. Now Amber wants to appeal, but the appeal costs will be even more expensive than the original claim, and then it remains to be seen what the final verdict will be. It doesn't seem wise to me to continue with this, but then I'm no Amber Heard. Although Amber's career as an actress is in the doldrums, it doesn't seem like we've heard the last from Amber yet..

  • Usually when people say they are happy with their family, they mean it differently than Samantha Markle. Samantha will probably also say that she is very happy with her sister, the Duchess of Sussex, but that's not because she loves her sister so much. However, she loves the attention she can get by suing Meghan for the high-profile interview Meghan gave to Oprah.

    Talking about sisterly love.

  • That the lives of famous actors are not always a bed of roses is a fact that one of the world's most famous actors recently spoke about. “I always felt very alone in my life, alone growing up as a kid, alone even out here, and it's really not till recently that I have had a greater embrace of my friends and family,” said Brad Pitt.

And these feelings have ensured that Brad, just like Johnny Depp, became acquainted with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes. The big difference is that Brad didn't need a witness stand in court to tell about these experiences.

  • But Jennifer Aniston shows that there are still loving happenings in Hollywood.. She paid tribute to her father John Aniston at the Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, June 24. Jennifer delivered an emotional speech as she presented the iconic Days of Our Lives actor, 88, with a lifetime achievement award.

As usual, I enjoyed the gossip, but again, I'm so glad I'm just here in my own life. Not famous, not hunted by crowds. That I have my privacy, and that no one cares about every little step I take.

Enjoy your week

HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND WE WILL RETURN!
