CineTV COMMUNITY NEWSPAPER | #22

Welcome to this week's new CineTV Community Newspaper. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Now let's sit back and relax a bit with our weekly newspaper!

CINE COMMUNITY UPDATE

Let's kick off this week's paper with the great news that the HIVE.SWAP / CINE diesel pool has received new reward tokens. Anyone who wants to make their CINE tokens work for them now has an extra chance of extra passive income in the form of the CARTEL tokens! And as you may know, CARTEL is a dividend token. You are currently already receiving vouchers in the form of dividends, and the team is looking to expand dividends. This won't happen overnight, but it's definitely in the pipeline. So it certainly can't hurt to park the CINE that you don't want to sell in this diesel pool and enjoy a passive income in this way.

Meanwhile, our Social Media Manager, @thisismylife, has settled into her new environment a bit. And she feels better after being sick for a few days. What is immediately noticeable, the first writing prompt via Twitter has appeared again.

  • New movie releases in July

If you haven't jumped in on this yet, here's your chance to do so.

Hopefully we'll start seeing more writing prompts again once she's fully back into the work routine. (no extra pressure @thisismylife)

Now that we shared the most important community news. Let's move on to our Contest!

CINE CONTEST UPDATE

A very interesting theme this week. Everyone has thought about a movie that has a very interesting premise, but which you think is just badly made. I do have a few movies that I thought, "Gosh, I would have made those in a different way." Or that you think, "I could have done that better".

If you've had any of these moments while watching a movie, now's your chance to tell us all what you could do better, and don't forget to tell us why you think you can do better.

This week we're looking for your Dream Reboot or Remake Don't forget to check the contest rules before placing your entry. You still have two days to participate in this contest. The submission deadline is 5th July, 2022, 11:59 PM, UTC time.

As you know by now, We love to read your personal stories, not only blogs written for the contest. Why is that one movie or series so special to you? What impact has it had on you? Did a movie or series change your mind about certain things? Just to name a few examples.

Now that we said that, let's move on!

And of course, feel free to browse over all blogs written under the #cinetv tag. There are so many awesome blogs, and if your blog is not highlighted that does not mean it is not awesome. We appreciate each and everone of you, who takes the effort to write up a unique, original blog with movie or tv-related content.

MINIONS: THE RISE OF GRU

The Minions are back with a sequel. This time we see Gru's life. Gru grew up in the suburbs in the mid-70s. Wild hair and jeans are of course part of this. Gru is a fan of a rogue group called the Vicious 6. And he wants nothing more than to join these villains. But for that he has to become much more evil.

To achieve this goal, Gru gets some help to create the desired chaos. The help comes from, yes, The Minions. Kevin, Stuart, Bob and Otto - a new Minion with sporty braces and a desperate need to please - put all their skills to use as she and Gru build their first den, experiment with their first weapons and go on their first missions.

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER

All Chris Hemsworth fans will be eager to see this film. In this film, Chris takes on the role of the legendary God Thor! The entire film is for Thor a quest for inner peace, a journey for Thor like he has never experienced before.

Unfortunately, his quest for inner peace is cruelly interrupted by Gorr, The God Butcher! This one is out to destroy all gods. To face this threat, Thor enlists the help of several others. Together, they embark on a cosmic adventure to unravel the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.

WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING

In this film, we follow Kya, an abandoned girl who grew herself into adulthood in the perilous swamps of North Carolina. For years, rumors of the 'Marsh Girl' haunted Barkley Cove, isolating the sharp and resilient Kya from her community. Kya falls in love and is attracted to two young men from the city. Slowly she opens up to a new and surprising world. A world she doesn't understand that well. And then one of the two men is found dead. Kya is immediately identified as the prime suspect by the community. As the case progresses, the verdict of what really happened becomes increasingly obscure, threatening to reveal the many secrets lurking in the swamp.

MOVIE & CELEBRITY GOSSIPS

One of my favorite parts of the weekly newspaper. The juicy gossip! I can't help it, I think it's one of the "guilty pleasures", which I will never admit after today. Because like everyone else, I always pretend that I'm not interested in that at all.

  • While half of the world's population has to deal with less and less extravagant expenditures to meet the increasing cost of living, there are still people who have no problem with that. We are of course talking about our Hollywood stars.

A prime example of this is the powerhouse couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Everyone will understand that they do not have to pay attention to the little ones. It is clear that they also enjoy this when you see that they are looking for a new car together. Where people nowadays quickly opt for a cheap model, nothing could be further from Ben & Jen. They were recently spotted at a Rolls Royce dealer

I'm very curious to see if they were able to make a choice. And which Rolls Royce the choice fell on.

  • Would Arnold Schwarzenegger have had a romantic affair with his housekeeper 25 years ago? Or would it have been a little less romantic? Whatever it was, he will be reminded of it daily. You can see that when you see these pictures of his son. Joseph Baena looks just like his father, although for much of his childhood this Joseph has no had an idea that Arnold Schwarzenegger was his father. His mother Mildred Baena was a housekeeper for Arnold and his then wife Maria Shriver. Had you expected this?

  • Meanwhile, we all think that life has calmed down for Johnny Depp when it comes to lawsuits. But that's really what it is, we THINK it. And we can think again, because nothing could be further from the truth. Johnny can get ready for another lawsuit. This time it's not Amber Heard, not yet!

This time, Johnny Depp will face Gregg "Rocky" Brooks in court. According to Gregg, Johnny punched him in the chest while filming "City of Lies".

Somewhere in the back of my mind I hear a little voice that pretty much says something like: it seems that people are weaving a web of lies around Johnny. Would this be meant by "the flip side of fame"?

  • Then there is Lindsay Lohan who has been in the news several times negatively. She seems to have lost her wild hair. Lindsay has been tamed and so happy with it.

In recent years, Lindsay has moved away from the ever-busy seductive Hollywood, but far from the drug temptations in Dubai. It had been clear for a number of years that she encountered another temptation in the form of Bader Shammas. But that this temptation has been so great as to give up her free life has recently become clear when Lindsay called him her husband on Instagram.

And here's the breaking news. This statement is not just a loose statement from Lindsay. Lindsay and Bader are indeed married

Congratulations to both! May it be a long and happy marriage!

Like every week I enjoyed the gossip, but like every week I am very happy that I can walk away from my PC and live my own life anonymously again. In peace! No journalists on my doorstep trying to retrace all my steps. No hordes of people screaming after me when I walk down the street. And no peeping eyes when I walk the dogs down the street and let out an expletive when one of the dogs surprises me with a hard tug on the leash.

I don't envy the Hollywood stars. Let me live happily in peace without Hollywood madness! How about you?

Enjoy your week

HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND WE WILL RETURN!

Note about plagiarism. We have seen some really great posts that failed to source their pictures and so we were not able to curate them properly. Plagiarism is THEFT and has no place in our CineTV family! Thanks...we love you all!
