The NYT showed new evidence of Russian atrocities in Bucha committed by the Russian occupiers until they were driven out of the Kiev region. In particular, they released a video from a drone, which shows the moment before some prisoners were shot.

These materials were published on May 19th in the New York Times. Journalists from the publication also showed a photo of the place where the bodies of 8 men killed during the recording of the video were found.

The execution of prisoners of war took place on March 4. Footage shows that the men were practically brought to the scene of the murder in line, threatened with a machine gun. A soldier walked behind the first prisoner. People were bent over and clinging to the belt of the one in front, this because the men were blindfolded. Despite the situation of the prisoners, a Russian soldier was running after them and aiming at them.

One of the soldiers is heard ordering:

Walk right, bitch

In another of the unpublished videos, the voice of the filmmaker is heard counting 8 people lying on the ground. The fact that these are the same men who were taken to the street is indicated by the clothes of the people being brought into the yard and simply thrown to the cold ground. In particular, the blue sweatshirt of one of the inmates. Also visible nearby are Russian armored transport tanks with their "V" mark.

This video ends. But witnesses told reporters what happened next. The soldiers then picked up the men once again and led them behind the neighboring building and it was behind this building that gunshots were heard, after which 8 prisoners did not return.

Reporters managed to find a video that confirmed the words of witnesses. It was filmed in Bucha the day after the execution. On it, in particular, this building is also visible, behind which the execution took place and the corpses lying on the ground can be seen. Two Russian soldiers were simply standing nearby, between the bodies was a bright blue that was the prisoner's sweatshirt.

This is a huge evidence of war crimes.
