Such were the official statements being made in late 2020 into early 2021, regarding the sudden and mysterious disappearance of the flu last year. But did this perennial seasonal virus truly just up and vanish, or is there more to the story than we are being told?
That we are not being told the truth about ‘Covid19’ is undeniable. Since the dawn of this so-called pandemic, the medical establishment, political talking heads, and so-called experts around the world have repeatedly lied to the public more times than anyone can count, consistently manipulating data to align with their ever shifting narrative, while suppressing and ignoring any and all science that challenges their sacred Covid dogma. The sheer number of times that the authorities have back-peddled on claims, contradicted their own official statements, and been caught lying with data is testament to the absurd and ridiculously unscientific nature of this whole ordeal; and it is truly astonishing that after all of this, and all of the harm that their ‘pandemic’ measures have caused without even coming close to vanquishing this new ‘invisible enemy’, that anyone would still blindly trust the ‘experts’ and believe anything that any of these clowns tell us at face value.
But of all the ridiculous claims, wild theories and strange ‘coincidences’ the public has been asked to believe over the past two years, the mysterious disappearance of the flu upon the arrival of ‘Covid19’ may just take the cake.
The mysterious disappearance of the flu
“One of the most bizarre features of the alleged COVID-19 ‘global pandemic’ has been the mysterious disappearance of the seasonal flu in medical and public health record keeping,” notes 21st Century Wire. “It’s as if the Flu just vanished into thin air after being the most common perennial seasonal respiratory virus.”
The timing of the flu’s magical vanishing act is not likely coincidental.
“The disappearing act began as Covid-19 rolled in towards the end of our flu season in March.” And just how swiftly rates have plummeted can be observed in ‘surveillance’ data collected by the World Health Organisation (WHO),” the UK’s Daily Mail reported.
It may have taken several months before it was widely noticed, but the mysterious disappearance of the flu that just so happened to coincide with the emergence of ‘Covid19’ was and still to this day remains one of the biggest red flags that all is not right when it comes to the establishment pandemic narrative.
Globally, upon the arrival of ‘Covid19’ on the world stage, reported flu cases plummeted by 98%, Australia had no flu season at all, Chile, which reported 7,000 cases during its 2019 flu season, detected just 12 cases during the same period in 2020, and “well into flu season,” San Diego County’s data for flu infections showed just 36 reported cases, down from a yearly average of over 17,000, with a local news outlet’s coverage of this story even prompting an audit.

From China to Europe, and Australia to the Americas, the flu appears to have just magically up and disappeared from the face of the earth.
“The numbers are astonishing considering flu has long been the nation’s biggest infectious disease threat,” AP points out, and yet the ‘experts’ and media outlets alike nonetheless ask us to believe that an illness which has been with us for decades and is blamed for 600,000 to 800,000 annual hospitalizations and 50,000 to 60,000 deaths in the US alone in recent years just magically vanished at the exact same moment as Corona made its entry onto the world stage.
This improbable phenomenon has baffled many laymen and experts alike, and there is no sound explanation from health authorities for this apparent impossibility.
“We don’t really have a clue,” Richard Webby, a virologist at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, said. “We’re in uncharted territory. We haven’t had an influenza season this low, I think as long as we’ve been measuring it. So what the potential implications are is a bit unclear.”
The potential implications universally ignored by establishment experts and media spokespeople alike appear to be a bit less unclear; the sudden and rapid disappearance of flu in the US occurred in March, at the very same time Covid testing was kicking into high gear. One is free to believe that this is just a coincidence, but for many this will prove to be one Plandemic ‘coincidence’ too many to accept, and a mighty crazy ‘coincidence’ at that.
What is clear is that the majority of the ‘experts’ who gave us flawed PCR tests and ineffective Covid jabs “overwhelmingly agree” on the establishment theory that the ‘pandemic’ measures which were ineffective against Covid - particularly masks, lockdowns and social distancing - somehow managed to wipe the flu off the face of the earth!
According to this nonsensical understanding, the very measures that demonstrably failed to ‘slow the spread’ of ‘Covid19’ or even come close to ending the ‘pandemic’ as they were promised to do, still somehow managed to simultaneously do the seemingly impossible - vanquish the flu from the face of the earth.
According to science journalist Peter Andrews, this “might just be the most awesome act of cognitive dissonance of this entire saga.”
Experts are claiming, with a straight face, that a laxly enforced hodgepodge of restrictions, which varies wildly between countries and regions, has overnight eradicated an ancient scourge of humanity from the face of the Earth. And in the next breath, they warn that the incidence of another identically transmitted virus is through the roof.
The nonsensical nature of this official explanation is further demonstrated by the fact that at least 27 medical studies have found that lockdowns have little to no effect whatsoever against Covid, while a comprehensive CDC review of all available evidence published in May, 2020, a meta analysis of 14 randomized controlled trials on mask efficacy conducted over the past two decades, “found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks,” and concluded that: “We did not find evidence that surgical-type face masks are effective in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza transmission, either when worn by infected persons (source control) or by persons in the general community to reduce their susceptibility.”
The large body of scientific evidence on mask efficacy is crystal clear: Masks simply don’t work to stop transmission of influenza or reduce confirmed cases. And yet we are asked to believe that although masks were unsuccessful against Covid, as demonstrated by the arrival of the predicted ‘second wave’ last fall which followed implementation of mask mandates in most states across the country, somehow this mask use was so effective at doing what all of the scientific research on the subject demonstrated they were completely ineffective at doing, that it managed to prevent the yearly flu season altogether!
Magic appears to be a prominent feature of the grand illusion, or as I’ve previously called it, the Covid magic show, seen both on ‘the day masks magically began to work’ and with the flu’s magical vanishing act.
It is also worth noting that even as masking, social distancing and lockdowns were being hailed as the mechanisms by which the flu had been seemingly vanquished, at least temporarily, the ‘experts’ were simultaneously predicting a ‘dark winter, the ‘darkest winter’ in US history in fact, due to an anticipated ‘twindemic’ caused by the arrival of a ‘second wave’ of Covid during the usual fall/winter flu season.
This prediction was made as mask mandates and reimposition of other measures which had previously been dropped were going back into effect across the country, these ‘experts’ clearly not expecting the then-present ‘pandemic’ measures to prevent this fabled ‘twindemic’ that never materialized.
Notably, since its mysterious disappearance last year, the flu has yet to make a comeback, while ‘Covid19’ remains with us to this day, in ever changing forms and with new names, but nonetheless here to stay, we are told, with us forevermore and to this day depicted as ‘public enemy #1’; almost as if the one has entirely replaced the other, or perhaps the flu has simply been given a new name.
In fact, the CDC’s most recent data for the week ending October 9, 2021 shows just 2 reported influenza related deaths across the entire country, while 2,430 deaths were attributed to ‘Covid19’ in the same week. And while there are typically some 150-200 child mortalities associated with the seasonal illness annually, there has to date not been a single reported influenza-related child mortality this year, with only one child death attributed to flu in the entire 2020/2021 season!
Being well into October, we have now entered the time frame during which flu season typically kicks off, and there has yet to be any notable activity.
An AP article gives us some insight into what is likely really going on here, in its summary of the alternative establishment explanation, that Covid has “essentially muscled aside flu and other bugs that are more common in the fall and winter.”
Scientists don’t fully understand the mechanism behind that, but it would be consistent with patterns seen when certain flu strains predominate over others, said Dr. Arnold Monto, a flu expert at the University of Michigan.
It is mind boggling to say the least that the very scientists who propose this theory never stop to think about what they are saying and wonder if this could in fact be the case precisely because ‘Covid19’ is a flu strain, the circulating influenza of the day renamed and repackaged to include a whole host of other respiratory illnesses as well.
All propaganda and Covid magic aside, there appear to me to be only two reasonable explanations for the mysterious ‘disappearance’ of the flu. One, flu and pneumonia cases are being misdiagnosed as ‘Covid19’, along with a host of other illnesses - due in large part to the inherently flawed nature of PCR tests as a primary diagnostic tool, particularly when they are being set at cycle thresholds known to produce high false positive rates of around 90%-97%; with only a tiny fraction of so-called Covid cases actually this disease we are told is caused by a novel coronavirus. Or two, there is no novel virus at all, ‘SARS-CoV2’ is a mythical phantom virus, and Covid is simply the flu (and pneumonia) renamed, with a whole bunch of other illnesses thrown in the mix to artificially jack up the numbers and hype up the fear factor.
These are not only very real possibilities, they mirror a scenario that has actually played out in history, as we will soon see.
That the PCR tests can admittedly produce false positives through identification of other coronaviruses including the common cold adds credence to this conclusion, particularly given that ‘Covid19’ has such a wide variance of symptoms to include many patients who show mild cold-like symptoms, many who show typical flu symptoms, a great many diagnosed with pneumonia that could in many cases be bacterial rather than viral, millions who have no symptoms at all; while lung cancer patients, gunshot wound victims, and even automobile accident mortalities having all verifiably ended up listed in official Covid statistics, revealing that to some extent the numbers are cooked and are being seriously artificially overinflated.
“And influenza was not the only virus that disappeared over the last year, the New York Times noted; “there were also substantial drops in other respiratory illnesses, including the respiratory syncytial virus, or R.S.V., which is the most common cause of pneumonia in infants.”
So even if there is a novel virus which is to some extent causing new disease called ‘Covid19’, the evidence strongly suggests that a vast majority of ‘confirmed’ Covid ‘cases’ are in fact influenza and other respiratory illnesses and coronaviruses such as the common cold which are being misdiagnosed, and, naturally, this would account for the mysterious disappearance of the flu and all the other respiratory illnesses that disappeared along with it.
PCR & the historical ‘epidemic that wasn’t’, a warning for our times
The mechanism by which this colossal scientific blunder or orchestrated fraud has been achieved is the flawed PCR test, which has become the global standard for coronavirus testing and Covid diagnosis, relied upon almost exclusively as the primary and often sole ‘diagnostic’ method. And as history has shown, reliance on PCR testing can quickly lead to the declaration of an ‘epidemic that wasn’t’, as occurred in 2007 when health authorities at a large Dartmouth hospital declared a whooping cough epidemic that in reality never was.
In that saga, what appears to have been “ordinary respiratory diseases like the common cold“ were misdiagnosed by PCR tests as whooping cough in dozens of patients, but in the end, “Not a single case of whooping cough was confirmed with the definitive test, growing the bacterium, Bordetella pertussis, in the laboratory.”
The New York Times report on this story goes on to reveal that, according to the experts, “pseudo-epidemics happen all the time,” adding that: “The Dartmouth case may have been one the largest, but it was by no means an exception...” Not only that, the same experts expected that the declaration of such nonexistent epidemics was “going to become more common,” and upon the alleged detection of the novel coronavirus said to cause ‘Covid19’, instead of heading the warning signs of history, PCR was adopted as the global Covid ‘diagnosis’ standard, and here we are.
We can now see that even if there is a new virus labelled ‘SARS-CoV2’ which has emerged in the last several years, it is also entirely possible that the ‘Covid19 pandemic’ has little or nothing to do with that ‘virus’ and everything to do with influenza, pneumonia, other respiratory illnesses and a PCR testing regimen utilizing cycle thresholds known to produce excessively high rates of false positives.
Interestingly, CDC has even developed a new PCR test for the new seemingly flu-free age of ‘Covid19’, one that can simultaneously test for Covid and influenza at the same time, “differentiating” between the two, of course, they assure us. But after all we’ve seen and the number of times the agency has been caught lying over the past two years, that is of course up for debate, as the CDC conveniently continues down the path of increasingly lumping Covid, influenza and other respiratory illnesses together in more ways than one...
As to those PCR tests with the known capability of producing high rates of false positives and nonexistent epidemics alike, well the AP ‘fact-checkers’ really want you to know that they are the industry “gold standard,” at least when it comes to Covid testing, anyway. So say the ‘experts’...
Meanwhile, there is no conclusive evidence that such a novel coronavirus even actually exists, as this alleged virus has never been properly isolated, which, along with the many inherent flaws of the PCR test and the downright fraudulent nature of this ongoing PCR testing campaign, will be the subject of our next post, in this investigation into the evidence that the whole world may have just been turned upside down and millions of lives cast into disarray over a phantom virus that still has yet to been found.
