Quite ofen I am asked the last days: What is that, dreemport? How do I use dreemport? What is it good for? Therefore I want to bring a little light into the darkness. Dreemport is a platform that aims to bring together bloggers who like to write, but also like to read others content. Even though dreemport is cross-platform, most dreemers are active on Hive.
First you will find the instructions on how to use dreemport, then my personal experience with it.
How To Use Dreemport
Part 1 - CURATION
In order to submit your own article, you have to rate 5 randomly selected articles. After you have created an account on https://staging.dreemport.com/login, you simply log in and click on "curation". Read the guidelines and then go to "begin curation".
You will now be presented the 5 articles you are supposed to rate that day, it looks like this:
Read each of the articles so that you can rate them accordingly later. Personally, I always right-click on "read post" and first open all 5 in new tabs. So I have the best overview, which I have still to read.

and @mrenglish/meet-mr-english-or-dreemport by @mrenglish ;-) wich was posted with peakd, but I just changed the link to ecency, so I can easy act and comment with my posting key without extra login to another frontend.
After reading the posts, possibly curating and commenting on them and leaving a message @dreemport sent me if you like, go back to the dreemport site to rate:
For each post you can choose between accept / reject and then click submit. If all 5 posts are rated, you can click on "I am certain" at the end of the page to go to the next page, where you can do the ranking of the posts:
You can simply move the posts up and down, the favorite up, the worst down.
NO, what you see here is not my ranking of these posts, but the page as I got it before ranking ;-) My ranking remains secret for you ;-)
Click "confirm" and your curation for this day is done. Now you have the possibility to submit one of your posts to dreemport!
Part 2 - SUBMIT
It doesn't have to be a new article that you submit, that doesn't matter at dreemport it's not about an upvote first, it's about presenting really good content and becoming a part of it all. Of course it increases the possibility of a vote if a new article is submitted.
But for my example I decided to use an older post, which I found so nice, but unfortunately didn't get so much attention:
So I open the post and likewise open the photo I want to display in dreemport in a new tab, then I just have to copy the two link lines into the submit form:
Add title and description, accept and click submit. Done.
Even though this may look like a lot, it's not. Dreemport is open for its users from Monday - Friday. On weekends, everyone takes some time off.
Your submitted article will be checked if it meets the requirements and if so, it will be shown to randomly selected people for curation on the next Dreemport day. This is how the system works.
My Experience with Dreemport
It was October 2021, I havn't been on Hive very long, when a guy named Kenny @kenechukwu97 showed up. He liked my posts and asked if he could feature them in dreemport. I had no idea what that was, but of course I was happy to get more eyes on my content.
That was the beginning of my journey with dreemport. Soon, I met Dreemy @dreemsteem herself and was also entering the PYPT Pimp Your Post Thursday. It's a warm and helpful community that welcomed me with open arms.
A community that loves to write, read, reflect and be there for each other. In February I participated for the first time in one of the big dreemport challenges, wich was with the Hive Garden Community.
Then the "drink your water" challenge (7 weeks for personal goals!) started and oh yes, this was a real challenge for me, but it was also incredibly fun and by the commitment and support by others, I made it til the end.

So I curated and submitted quite a lot of posts meanwhile, as you can see and although I dont join always, dreemport became a very important place for me.
Advantages of dreemport?
- The biggest one is one you can't measure in numbers. It's the connections with other people in a friendly network.
- Constant learning and growing. If you read a lot, you learn a lot and I think my blogging skills have improved a lot also and especially through dreemport.
- The DREEM token. They should not be missing here, because for every this and that and other things there are always DREEM, which you get credited to your wallet.
Summary: If you like to read, like to socialize and like to write posts with more than 5 words, then it's probably worth giving dreemport a chance to meet you.
