Share your battle challenge: Shadow Snitch! January 26 ,2022

Hello friends from the Splinterlands. Today, I bring to you one of my battle's featuring Shadow Snitch.

Shadow Snitch is a common monster from the death splinter. It has reach ability, +1 melee, +1 speed, and +5 health with a mana cost of 4. It is a new card as it is part of the Chaos Legion roll out.

I don't think I've ever used this card. The card is slow AF and has really weak attack.

According to Splinterland's lore, "Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion.

But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation."

As mentioned, Shadow Snitch is slow AF. At level one I suppose it is a decent card as a meat shield, however as you level up it does provide affliction so it can come in handy when you face an opponent with tank heal. However, I don't recommend leveling up this card. Out of ALL the cards, not sure why they decided to pick this one as part of the share your battle challenge. It is a terrible card. Change my mind lol.

Questions and Answers

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

My strategy certainly worked as I came out victorious. The negative magic from my summoner was MONEY as my opponent went with Earth deck magic heavy attack. The weaken from undead priest and the snipe from twisted jester and death elemental got the job done by sniping their low mana monsters. As I continued to decimate my opponent life sapper got stronger and stronger while shadow snitch acted as an excellent meat shield.

My excellent positioning and good choice of summoner was clutch in this victory. I sniped my opponent away while their magic attack was weakened. Life Sapper was Money as it gained extra health with each snipe.

Do I like Shadow Snitch, why or why not?

To be honest I don't really care for Shadow Snitch. It is a slow AF card with a weak attack. However, since this rule set was little league, Snitch came in handy as an excellent meat shield. She ate up damage as my backline sniped away my opponent.

With that said I wouldn't go out of my way to use this card, let alone lever it up. But hey maybe someone out there, likes it. Just not me. Hard pass on this card lol.

This concludes my battle challenge. I hope you enjoyed it and were able to learn a little bit more about Shadow Snitch and see how the card stacks up against the rest of the competition.
