A Silent and Fatal card for your Battles

imag 1.jpg

For this week's challenge I chose the Silent Sha-Vi card from the death deck which is incredibly useful when it comes to attacking your opponent's back row cards. It is a common card from the chaos legion edition and its mana cost is 5 which is not low but is very worth having in battles.

Its stats at level 1 are 2 attack which can be considered reasonable for a card with that mana cost and at this level 3 speed which is already a good amount so it's a very positive point of Silent Sha-Vi since she won't have much problem being one of the cards that will attack first, especially in the bronze league, 5 health which is not much but as she is a card to deal damage so it's a reasonable amount to have and this is just her starting level.

At level 10, which is her maximum level, she already has 4 attack which is a lot of attack, 6 speed which is already considered quite high so she will probably be one of the first cards to attack, 7 health which is already more than level 1 and as her focus is on dealing damage so it's a good amount. In addition she has 3 abilities and all of them focus on the attack, the abilities are the Sneak that she has since level 1, Cripple from level 6 and Piercing at level 10.

The image above shows an overview of the Silent Sha-Vi card, remembering that there are level restrictions in the leagues so Silent Sha-Vi at level 6 with the Cripple ability would only be possible in gold silver or above and Silent Sha-Vi with Piercing ability at level 10 only in diamond league or above.

The first one, Sneak, makes Silent Sha-Vi attack the enemy card positioned in the last position, so it will be a great option to attack the opponent's back row cards that usually have less health and are easier to defeat.

The second one that is the Cripple ability makes the card that is attacked by Silent Sha-Vi lose 1 life in addition to the damage caused by it, so it will be a great ability to deal even more damage to cards.

The third and last one is the Piercing ability, which makes Silent Sha-Vi deal the excess damage caused in shields on the card's health, so if Silent Sha-Vi has more attack than the shield of the card it attacks, the difference in points will be caused in the life of the card.

For the battle besides Silent Sha-Vi I used other cards that were quite useful, these cards are:

The Summoner Thaddius Brood (Level 1) that reduces the magic attack and the health of enemy cards by 1, he will be very useful because my opponent has many cards with magic attack and having his cards with less 1 health will make it easier for him to they are defeated

The Cursed Windeku (Level 1) which is a great defense against melee attacks as it has the Thorns ability that does 2 damage when it takes damage from these cards, but for this battle my opponent has only 1 melee card

The Life Sapper (Level 1) that has the Life Leech ability that makes him gain life when he attacks a card so he will be very useful if he has a lot of life and has to defend in the first position

Death Elemental (Level 1) that has the Snipe ability so it gives priority to cards with magic and ranged attacks when attacking

Soul Strangler (Level 1) which is a ranged card and has no abilities

Silent Sha-Vi (Level 1) that has the Sneak ability that makes it attack the enemy card positioned in the last position so it will be very useful to defeat my opponent's cards that have low life

See the Battle

In the battle my opponent used a summoner that increases the magic attack of his cards by +1 and as he has 3 cards of this type then it will be very useful. His main defense is the Unicorn Mustang which will be a problem for my Life Sapper and Death Elemental cards as they won't be able to damage him.

My opponent also has the Goblin Psychic card that has the Tank Heal ability that makes him heal the first position card so he will also be a big problem because the Unicorn Mustang won't be defeated easily as it will be healed, but that's where the Silent Sha-Vi shows how useful it is because she will be able to defeat the Psychic Goblin and cut this healing.

In this battle the available mana is 24 and there are no rules.

Round 1

In the first round having the Unicorn Mustang defending to my opponent was a problem since I didn't have much damage to deal with him and with the healing of the Goblin Psychic it became even more difficult, but I had many cards in my favor like the Death Elemental that was able to defeat the Khmer Princess who had only 1 health because of Thaddius Brood's debuffs so it was one less card to worry about and the Thorns ability from my Cursed Windeku was quite useful to deal more damage to Unicorn Mustang.

Silent Sha-Vi also did a great job defeating Venari Spellsmith so now my opponent only has Unicorn Mustang and Goblin Psychic which is a great combo but Death Elemental and Silent Sha-Vi's next target is him so it won't be a problem for a long time.

Round 2

In the second round the Goblin Psychic was the main target of my cards and adding the attack of Death Elemental and Silent Sha-Vi both were able to defeat him so Unicorn Mustang lost its main help.

Now that he was out of healing and that he also had Cursed Windeku with his Thorns ability right in front of him he wasn't able to do much and suffered a lot of damage this round and to finish the Soul Strangler gave him the last blow and so the battle ended since my opponent had no more cards on the battlefield.

Conclusion

The Silent Sha-Vi card was very useful in the battle attacking the opponent's back row cards mainly the Goblin Psychic which was one of the main problems, but it can't be the only one to receive the merit because the Death Elemental also contributed a lot to this, making the victory of this battle easier. In addition to him, we also had the other cards that were very useful, especially Cursed Windeku with its Thorns ability that did a lot of damage to the Unicorn Mustang. We can say that each card played an important role in the battle.

LORE

Silent Sha-vi are entities from the shadow realm that take the form of giant snakes. They travel in darkness and shadow as if each dark corner is a gateway that leads elsewhere. They have an appetite for slow and creeping deaths, feeding off the escalating fear of the victim. If you think there might be a monster under your bed, it's probably a Silent Sha-vi.
Tommy huddled beneath the covers in his bed, his room all the darker for lack of moonlight this night. The child knew there was a monster that crept within the house. He knew it. But his parents wouldn't listen. And tonight, just like the night before, he heard a sound underneath the bed.

Tommy remembered what his parents told him. To just look under his bed. Then he would realize he was safe.

The boy slowly sat up, his breath hitching in fear. His room seemed all the more frightening at night. Everything was shadow. Everything was a potential figure skulking in a corner, watching him.

He crawled to the edge of his bed and slowly lowered his head down. Heart pounding within his ears, he peered into the abyss underneath.

Two serpentine eyes peered back.

And Tommy screamed.
