BUYING, SELLING, AND RENTING TECHNIQUES

In the market, are you the buyer of the seller? Any of two, you should know the tactics behind the buy and sell in the market.

BUYING IN THE GAME

In Splinterlands, the first ever thing that you are going to buy is the Spellbook.

Spellbook costs 10 US Dollars. This Spellbook will grant you an opportunity to earn cryptocurrencies like Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), Credits, and Splintershards (SPS) in the game. You can buy this in the website of Splinterlands or using the referral link of the others.

Using the referral link of other players, you can have a 5% discount (the mechanics for the discount is stated above). If ever you want to have a discount, you can use my referral link. Just click here.

After buying Spellbook, the next thing that you can now buy are the cards. In the game, you can buy directly any cards, but there are also other suggested markets in the game. Here they are:

  • PEAKMONSTERS - Peakmonsters is a market where you can buy, rent, and bid cards. Yes, you can bid here. I never try bidding for a card in this market, but there are possibility that you can get cheaper but powerful cards here. You just need to strategize on how to bid. This can save you a lot of money.

Aside from the mentioned above, you can also check here SPS airdrops and compute the possible SPS you can get for a day. You can compare on which is gives you higher SPS, letting Splintertalk Tokens (SPT) in your wallet or converting it to DEC? You can know the answer by clicking the SPS Airdrop and the Whitepaper.

  • MonsterMarket - Monstermarket is the other market being suggested in Splinterlands.

In this market you use your HIVE, HBD, STEEM, and SBD to buy credits, that can be use in buying cards.

Also, the prettiest thing here is that when you buy cards here, you can have a CASHBACK in the form of DEC. I tried to buy here and experience that cashback. So I highly recommend to all of you this market. Below is my purchase made on this market.

  • Card Auctionz - Card Auctionz is another market being suggested in Splinterlands. Here, you can buy and rent cards. There are cards here that is much cheaper compared to other market. So you should check this out as well.

Overall, the three market stated above has different pricing in every cards, so I suggest to check all those three, inlcuding the in-game market to get lower price. But on all of the market, I suggest to use the Monstermarket because of the cashback it offers.

Do you have any experiences and discoveries on these markets? Comment it down below to help the beginners and other players in buying.

SELLING CARDS AND RENTING CARDS

Aside from buying cards, you can also sell and rent your cards to other players in the market. You can sell and rent your cards in the game and to the other markets. Also, you can sell and rent it through social media accounts, but make sure that the buyers are trusted. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS.

The picture above is the in-game market, where players sell and rent their cards. If you want to sell and rent your cards immediately, you should do these things:

  1. Check the lowest price in the market. You should check first the lowest price in the market of that card and then lower your pricing by 1 only. If the lowest price is 0.25, make your price as 0.24. That is only a very small difference but that difference can attract buyers. I tried this technique and my two epic cards are always up for rentals.

  2. If the card that you want to sell and rent is level 2 and above, try to make discount. For example, if you have a level 2 Djinn Inferni and the price of level 1 Djinn Inferni in the card rental is 3.50 DEC, make your pricing 6.90 or 6.95, instead of making it 7.00 DEC. There are intelligent buyers in the market. They will prefer to buy two level 1 Djinn Inferni instead of 1 level 2 if their total computed price is much cheaper that the higher level. So always do discounts.
