Proceeding to Gold with filler

The progress on my main account Sayee was smooth until I met with 'village people' and dropped 200 points and I am still trying to climb up and hope to reach diamond league.

So, I decided to concentrate on filler account. This is the account that I had first started playing when I tried out splinterlands. It was an exciting experience but I did make a few mistakes of investing in two accounts rather than one but what is done is done and I am now trying to make filler a gold novice account at least and the chaos packs that are going live soon hopefully will give me opportunities to make a gold deck.

Playing a novice account is easier because there is less tension and daily quests are not a problem at all. Those who love to play splinterlands for the joy of playing it will love it and I advise you to invest in gold because it means more rewards as well and will help get your returns for the investment.

I took a video of the games before reaching Silver 1 I hope it will be of help to the newer players.

Tips for the new players.
Please do not rent high-level monsters without fully understanding the cards. I see many a new player having a levelled summoner and reaching diamond but with level one monster cards that are easily finished off before you can say 1,2 or 3.

Make sure you rent summoners and monsters that are suited for each other. For example, a max summoner needs max cards - especially commons that are maxed otherwise, it will be a complete wipeout especially if the ruleset does not favor you.

Also, Yodin Zaku was mighty until Valnamore came by and started hurting it. So, be careful and check if your opponent has used Val and resist from using Zaku and try to use other splinters that you are good with.

Lir Deepswimmer is also a good one against Zaku.

Now, you may wonder why I am trying to record some of the battles. It helps a lot and if you are a new player, I encourage you to record your important battles on a daily basis or at least make a note of it because it can be helpful not only to yourself but to newer players too who will definitely join us sooner or later.

When you are choosing a team, make sure it has applied to the rule otherwise it will be a waste of time and points.
For example, if the rule says, ranged monsters can attack from the front, it will be good to choose either an anti range summoner or one that gives power to the range in your team and also choose a tank that can evade and destroy range along with some good ranged monsters that can help win you the game.

It will also be good to study the battles of pro players who are always good at winning most of their matches. These names will be at the top of the leaderboard of the respective leagues.
