A year ago, I was testing a 200mm pentax m42 mount lens, which I use on my Canon cameras, not knowing that these would be the last self-portraits I would take with normal hair.

Hace un año, estaba probando un lente 200mm pentax montura m42, que uso uso en mis cámaras Canon, sin saber que estos serían los últimos autorretratos que me haría con el cabello normal.

The main problem with taking portraits with a 200mm with an apsc sensor in studio is the distance you have to be from the model. This has to be very wide and this makes it very difficult for me to apply it practically in other types of sessions, but I really like the way the image looks.

El problema principal de hacer retratos con un 200mm con un sensor apsc en estudio es la distancia a la que tienes que estar del modelo. Esta tiene que ser muy amplia y esto me hace muy difícil su aplicación práctica en otros tipos de sesión, pero la verdad el resultado de como se ve la imagen me gusta bastante.

At other times I have tried to use it but because of the above mentioned I have not been able to achieve a constant result with it. The connection that is achieved with a model when being close I think it is something important and this is lost with such a long lens.

En otros momentos trate de utilizarlo pero por lo anterior comentado no he logrado dar con un resultado constante con el mismo. La conexión que se logra con un modelo al estar cerca creo que es algo importante y esto se pierde con un lente tan largo.
