NEWBIES | HOW CAN I GET MORE UPVOTES?

PicsArt_10-21-11.18.44.jpg

There's really no magic to getting your post more visible and upvoted more often than you can imagine here on Hive. Every thing follows a simple process and if followed would yield good results.

So, how can you get more upvotes?

It is actually quite simple, way more simple than you can imagine, It doesn't require an herculean task or casting of spells, haha. All you have to do is just:

STAKE YOUR TOKENS

Like I always say "The more you stake, the more you gain".
This is always at the top of the list of everything you have to do here on Hive. Yes making quality post is a very big added advantage but if you keep making posts and not staking you'll still not get the desired upvotes.

Staking has to do with powering up your token. When you power it up, it gives you more power. Like Samson in the bible, the more his hair kept growing the more powerful he became. Power is everything and without it you're just be a small fish in a very big ocean.

So when you stake, you tend to get more voting power. If you don't know what it is, it is that percentage stuff you see very close to your profile. It let's you grant upvotes to other authors. The more staked tokens you have , the more valued your votes can be.

What do I mean?, They're authors whose voting power is worth a lot more than $1, so imagine that author keeps voting on your post consistently, then you keep getting almost half a dollar added to your wallet( half because the curator receives back a higher percentage) . It's quite simple. But note, the more upvotes you grant, the more you gain, nothing actually goes to waste.

It has also been stated exhaustively by @onealfa.pob and @insight.pob that they'll only grant votes to accounts that has been staking most of their tokens because it was noticed that a lot of accounts tend to sell their tokens instead of Stake which isn't adding value to the community. Staking gives you a certain visibility, it gives you a voice and lastly gives you power.

So no matter what you do as a newbie in Hive, no matter how much expenses you need to take care of, ensure you stake more than you sell and just like magic you'll see how much upvotes you'll start to have.
