What do you know how to do?

There are a lot of people buying into narratives about how things in the world should operate or be operated. Yet I think people fail to ask and answer some important questions regardless of their ideology...

Who is going to do it?

Who is going to decide what needs to be done?

What do you know how to do?

Do you know how to take care of the sewer system? If so, great. Are you going to handle all of that yourself? Likely not. Where do you get your supplies?

Why do you work?

If you have an answer to that question and you are dreaming about some other ideological framework taking over do you think it will make it so you no longer need to work?

If not. Why would you work under that ideology?

After you answer that consider the following...

Do you think everyone is the same as you and thinks the same way?

Would you be fine trudging through the sewers while someone else gets to say be a D.J., a Musician, sit at a desk, investigate news, etc.?

Does your ideology you are dreaming of award the people with the literally "shitty" jobs better?

If not, why would people want to do those jobs?

You can likely think up some imagined reason they would want to. So why don't you volunteer and learn how to do the bad jobs?

Are you willing to do that?

Is there a mechanism that will force certain people to do the jobs others don't like?

Will it use force or coercion?

If so... does that mean you are endorsing slavery?

Do you somehow think you will be one of the masters and not a slave?

Why?

I ask the thing I started with above as the third question...

What do you know how to do?

In my thought experiments ALL of the ideologies that revolve around Socialism, Marxism, Maoism, Communism, etc. fail when you truly consider these questions. They are lies. They are built on imaginary worlds that ignore the fact that people are different and that people know different things, desire different things, and are motivated for different reasons. It is not a one size fits all clone army. If it were you'd be screwed anyway because that clone army would have very limited knowledge and know how to do very limited things...

You may think someone will train them...

Why?

Are you sure they'll still be alive to do that?

Do you think they'll all succumb to your force?

Does it truly sound good only because you ignore the fact it will require force and it will require that some people get to force others?

To me people keep buying into the nonsense in these ideas because the idea of "equality of outcome" (aka Equity) sounds great when you watch people partying on their yachts, private islands, and in their penthouses. It may sound great when you watch the celebrities trotted out on the media...

That is a lie... You won't get that. You might think no one will, we'll all be treated equal. The truth is some people will get it. They will be a few within the many that convince you to buy into the lie.

Equality of Outcome is a myth, a lie, a con, a scam... it is literally impossible to achieve.

Equality of opportunity we can strive for yet it will never be achieved by force. As soon as force is an element then that means choice is removed. If some can choose and others cannot then the lie is exposed.

Think...

Truly think...

Don't simply react...

What do you know how to do?
