The Circles of Our Lives

For this contest, I have taken this photograph of a birthday sharing of my youngest daughter. I loved the photograph and I always had it in mind precisely because of what it contains in itself, which is a diversity of circles that are structured and complement each other at different levels and aspects. We have as such, the geometric circles formed by the tables present, a detail of the ornament of the chair, the cake itself and the base where it rests, the dazzling circle of the light of the small candle, in addition to the dishes that await the end of this moment captured in the image.

But there are also other circles formed, some perhaps visible and others not so much. The expectant children wait in a circle for the end of the birthday song, which, like a circle, completes each year of whoever's turn it is, will be sung. Because life is a great circle that begins its tracing at the point where the circular head of a spermatozoid and the circle that represents the ovum of the woman meet. And for many, this circle of life closes when we exhale our last breath, completing and closing that circle that we all have to travel.

And the boys in the photo, also form a circle of friendship that brought them together at this moment to share and enjoy a delicious piece of the chocolate cake. Girls and boys who in turn, each one, belong to a family circle that concentrates them in a diverse universe of like-minded people who share from the feeling of family. And your dear friend who reads me, we are part of a digital circle built in a blockchain that is built with each publication that we share, which also represents a personal circle of our appreciations, tastes, and interests. Los Círculos de Nuestras Vidas

Para este concurso, he tomado esta fotografía de un compartir de cumpleaños de mi hija menor. Me ha encantado la fotografía y siempre la tuve presente precisamente por lo que la misma encierra en sí, que es una diversidad de círculos que se estructuran y complementan en diferentes niveles y aspectos. Tenemos como tal, los círculos geométricos formados por las mesas presentes, un detalle del adorno de la silla, la misma torta y la base donde esta se apoya, el círculo deslumbrante de la luz de la pequeña vela, además de los platos que esperan el final de este momento capturado en la imagen.

Pero existen también otros círculos formados, algunos quizás visibles y otros no tanto. Los chicos expectantes esperan en círculo el final de la canción de cumpleaños, que como un círculo, completa cada año de a quien le toque en su momento, le sea cantado. Porque la vida es un gran círculo que comienza su trazado en el punto donde se unen la cabeza casi circular de un espermatozoide y el círculo que representa el óvulo de la mujer. Y para muchos, este círculo de la vida se cierra cuando exhalamos nuestro último aliento, completando y cerrando ese círculo que todos tenemos que recorrer.

Y los chicos en la foto, también forman un círculo de amistad que los reunió en este momento para compartir y disfrutar de un delicioso trozo de la torta de chocolate. Chicas y muchachos que a su vez, cada uno, pertenecen a un círculo familiar que los concentra en un diverso universo de personas afines que comparten desde el sentimiento de la familia. Y tu querido amigo que me lees, formamos parte de un círculo digital construido en una cadena de bloques que se construye con cada publicación que compartimos, que representan también un círculo personal de nuestras apreciaciones, gustos e intereses.
