Good night, God bless you, today to end the week I share a little post, may it be a blessing.

The citizen of the Kingdom..

Serve God and others

Accept your assignment Eph 2:10 “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”
We were put on earth for a purpose, to serve God and others. Whenever we serve others, in any way, we are truly serving God and fulfilling one of his purposes. We are not on earth just to breathe, eat, occupy space and have fun. God shaped us individually to make a contribution with our lives. God redeemed us to do his holy work. You are not saved by good works, but to do good works.
In the kingdom of God, we have a place, a purpose, a role and a function to fulfill. This gives your life great value and meaning. Once you have been saved, God tries to use you in his plans. He has a ministry in his church and a mission in the world: 2 Tim 1:9 “Who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his purpose and the grace that was given us in Christ Jesus before the times of the centuries”.
Jesus said that our attitude should be the same as His: in Mt 20:27-28 “and whoever wants to be first among you must be your servant; 28 as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” For Christians, service is not optional, it is something that should be included in our schedules, if we have time. It is the heart of the Christian life. Jesus came to serve and to give, and those two verbs can also define his life in the Kingdom of God. “Serve” and “give”, in short, is God's purpose for your life.
