We walked out our favorite trail between rain storms tonight. It was stunning to see the lake, glimmering in the sun and dotted with boats.
I took pictures from many different angles, trying to capture the beauty and magic of the scenery. Even now that we have had several weeks of fair weather after our cold winter, I have to pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming!
The sky was ever changing. At some points I wasn’t certain we would make it back down the path before the next rain shower, but I was too captivated by the sky and water and boats to leave!
I do love dramatic skies, and all the crazy weather we have here in Minnesota certainly lends itself to that!
We also had some lovely views along the trail — including a rainbow!
