The ATA-700 "Advanced Tactical Android", is a Multiverse character completely inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800.
It belongs to a timeline where skynet did not exist, but the machines were used for conventional warfare, replacing almost entirely all soldiers and in some cases military leaders.
It is considered a multipurpose weapon although in many occasions they perform intelligence and counter-intelligence tasks, being very useful to be in active service 24 hours a day without resting or eating.
The ATA-700 can engage in conventional combat, but is used alone, unlike its predecessor, the "Saturation Tactical Android" STA-550.
It has an artificial replica of a human-like brain filled with neuron-like nano bots in a specially created liquid, allowing it to learn and complete autonomy.
Its construction materials are not as resistant as those of the STA-550, with an approximate weight of 80 kg and an approximate height of 1.67 cm and a very realistic synthetic skin with very little capacity for self-healing.
Currently, new models are being developed to replace the ATA-700 although new developments are affected by many controversies and the fear of the rapid advancement of machines compared to humans.
La ATA-700 "Androide Táctico Avanzado", Es un personaje de un Multiverso inspirado completamente en el T-800 de Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Pertenece a una línea temporal donde skynet no existió, pero las máquinas fueron usadas para la guerra convencional, remplazando casi en su totalidad a todos los soldados y en algunos casos líderes militares.
Se considera un arma polivalente a pesar de que en muchas ocasiones realizan labores de inteligencia y contra inteligencia, resultando muy útil al estar en servicio activo las 24 horas del día sin descansar o comer.
La ATA-700 puede entrar en combate convencional, pero es empleada en solitario a diferencia de su antecesor, el "Androide Táctico de saturación" STA-550.
Cuenta con una réplica artificial de un cerebro parecido al humano lleno de nano bots como neuronas en un líquido especialmente creado con ese fin, esto le permite aprender y una autonomía completa.
Sus materiales de construcción no son tan resistentes como los del STA-550, contando con un peso aproximado de 80 kg y una altura aproximada de 1.67 cm y una piel sintética muy realista con muy poca capacidad de autorregenerarse.
Actualmente, se desarrollan nuevos modelos para reemplazar a la ATA-700 aunque los nuevos desarrollos se ven afectados por muchas polémicas y el temor al rápido avance de las máquinas a comparación de los humanos.

I had been wanting to draw my version of the exterminator for a long time, so I decided to dedicate a couple of days to this project.

I really like how the sketches look, at this stage I put a black background layer with red light in the eye to give me an idea of how the final result was going to look like.
Me gusta mucho como se ven los bocetos, en esta etapa puse una capa de fondo negro con luz roja en el ojo para darme una idea de como iba a quedar el resultado final.
I corrected this eye several times, even though I was not completely satisfied with the final version.
Este ojo lo corregí varias veces, aun asi no quede del todo conforme con la versión final
Now that the sketch is finished, I start with the lineart. at this stage I let myself fix some things that I didn't like.
Terminado el boceto, empiezo con el lineart. En esta etapa me permití arreglar ciertas cosas que no me gustaron
I apply the base colors in different layers for better control.
Aplico los colores base, en diferentes capas para mejor control
I start with very soft shadows.
Empiezo con sombras muy suaves.
With the pencil tool I make this texture, originally the metal was going to be completely smooth. But thinking about it with the texture gives it a more realistic touch, besides simulating some damage.
Con la herramienta lápiz hago esta textura, originalmente el metal iba a ser completamente liso. Pero pensándolo bien con la textura le da un toque más realista, además de simular algo de daño.
I was looking for something that looked artificial, this with the intention of comparing it with future versions I plan to make.
Buscaba algo que se viera artificial, esto con la intención de compararla con futuras versiones que pienso hacer
