Russian Missile Hitting Shopping Mall in Kremechuk: Is It Terrorism Yet?

Yesterday on 28th of June and Ukraine could celebrate its national holiday - the Constitution Day. But Ukrainians didn’t celebrate. The war that burst out in Ukraine in February continues, as russia is still conducting offensive operations all over Ukrainian territories.

A day before the national holiday, russian army launched a missile strike on the Amstor shopping and entertainment center in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. About a thousand people were shopping there at the time of the strike. As a result, more than 20 people are known to have been killed and at least 59 injured.

As of the morning of June 28, it is reported that as a result of a missile strike on the Amstor shopping center, 36 people are missing, 59 people sought medical help, 25 of them were hospitalized.

James Longman, ABC News Foreign Correspondent, shares video on his Twitter page: “We’re at the mall in Kremenchuk which was hit by Russia. Utter devastation.”

Besides the missile strike onto the shopping mall, there also were several other hits on Kremenchuk. The video below shows how much the city was shelled and how terrible it was for Ukrainians there.

This mall in Kremenchuk worked for peaceful people. You could buy food, various things, including toys there. People went there shopping, taking their kids with them. And russians knew it perfectly well. So, is it time to call russia a terrorist state yet?
