How To Meditate: A Simple and Easy Guide

Hey everyone this is actually my very first post im new to the crypto world and just recently learned about the HIVE platform. I am a shy individual and not very good at a lot of things but one thing im decent at is Meditation so i thought i start with that. Meditation is an age-old practice that has been shown to have numerous benefits for mental and physical health and it has personally changed my life. If you have never done meditation, it can seem like a fearsome task. But it doesn't have to be! In this post, I'll explore how to meditate easily and effectively.

First, find a place where you are comfortable you can either sit or lie down doesn't matter as long as you don't fall asleep lol. Take some deep breaths to relax your body. Once you're feeling calm, slowly close your eyes and focus on your breath, or a single object or a thought. This could be a mantra, a word or phrase that you repeat to yourself, or a certain image that you focus on. Try to hold your attention on this as long as you can. When you find your mind wandering, just simply refocus on your object or breath. Meditation doesn't have to be complicated - just focus and let go of everything else and that's it.

I personally started with 4 minutes and now i do it atleast 20 minutes everyday. Overtime you'll notice its easier to be calm in situations that would stress others, a literal increase in your learning capacity, easier to cope with physical pain & you are more focused with less random thoughts.
