Making A Clear Decision

Being able to make a clear stand on an issue is very important in doing bigger things in life. When you say you won't ever do something, but you end up doing it, and feeling angry or disappointed at yourself isn't the way to go. There's definitely a need for change, if you must achieve your goals in life.

Napoleon Bonaparte is known for the popular words "Nothing is more difficult, and therefore more precious, than to be able to decide". The main problem we're all facing is that we underestimate the difficulty of making a strong decision. Most people take it very lightly, and say that they've decided to become rich.

But when you look at how they live their lives daily, you can really see that they've not decided. If you completely make up your mind that you want to become truly rich, and that you'll put in all the work necessary to get you there - your life will change for the best within just a single year.

But most people never ever absolutely decide. And it's quite understandable because it's truly hard to decide, but if we want to become the top 5% - these are the people who have made a clear and absolute decision. Deciding is so difficult because mostly it requires you to sacrifice something.

Take note, we're creatures of habit. Thus if you perhaps decide that you want to be waking up by 5am every morning, this may mean going to bed early. But all along, you've probably formed a bad habit of going to bed late - watching movies, TV shows, and music. If you will succeed in that decision, then you must accept the sacrifice of not doing those unproductive things at night.
