Crypto: Doomsday has Still Not Arrived

The space has died a thousand and one deaths at the hands of critics and still forges ahead. In every bear cycle, there seems to be the old cliche of 'done for' that justifies every potential exodus and perhaps tells us why we aren't growing as anticipated. Then an inevitable rebound happens.

This current bear cycle has a lot of intrigues particularly with the performance of some alts which have remained fairly stable despite the dip. It is quite the spectacle to witness really, and some tokens have even chosen this period to rally rather than follow the general market direction.

If you're a staunch crypto critic, surely you have to question your motives at this point. Do you believe the project will fail or do you want it to fail? Because there is a huge difference in both of them. One seeks to quench all reason and pass a verdict while the other leaves room for doubt.

Perhaps for those who are a bit more liberally minded, they'll likely be asking the question of 'why' when it comes to rebounding. The markets keep making a turnaround and we have seen some pretty big rebounds in the past. The reason why there is always almost sure to be a rebound is what the blockchain represents.

There are talks of a global recession coming and whatnot. We are currently at the center of a financial system that has done little to protect us from such a crisis, and it is especially difficult for new wealth to be created in some economies than others. There is a utility crypto brings in all these instances that makes it too important to ignore.

Those likening the space to a ponzi scheme only see the price fluctuations, not the utility. The current price fluctuations mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, especially when one considers how much of an impact crypto could potentially have in the World at large.

Usefulness cannot be swept under the carpet, fortunately. No matter what anyone says, there is already a widely accepted proof of value the space brings. Even governments have accepted this and have switched their modes from killing to regulating the space. Am afraid the space has become too useful to fail.
