Cryptocurrency currently is still in its infancy stage, and I must confess that it has really gone into global knowledge which is a good thing. A lot of people are now trading cryptocurrency on a large scale in P2P or on exchanges. Cryptocurrency has spun through yeild farming, Defi, and other sectors but my question is; When will I be able to pay for goods and services generally with crypto.

While crypto knowledge is well known by a lot of people around the world, its acceptance in daily commerce is yet to become a reality. Governments, banks and centralized fintech companies have been making the transition of cryptocurrency very difficult, as a result of fear for the unknown. A lot of these centralized sectors are scared of losing relevance and power, others assume that cryptocurrency is minting money from thin air (so where are they minting those fiat from is my question).

The road to purchasing all you need with cryptocurrency isn't far again. Speed has been conquered, seeing that Blockchains like Hive is 10 times faster than the average bank when it comes to transfer, also when it comes to security, the blockchain has proven to be more secured and unhackable only unless there is a compromise with private key.

With recent acceptance of cryptocurrencies in few stores, the possibility of having a world were transactions would be settled with crypto will be possible soon but then, the possibility of that cryptocurrency being Bitcoin is very low. Bitcoin would be held as a store of value and not a crypto for daily transaction.
