LeoAlpha weekly metrics insights - 1 Dec.

Hey everyone, each week we take a look at how the Leofinance platform is tracking with some metrics and insights from various sources and a little commentary. Last weeks post was missed, so today I'll look at stats over the last two weeks. It's been a big couple of weeks, so lets dive in.

Twitter:

The LeoAlpha twitter account has been reasonably active over the last few weeks. For those that have not seen it, I attempt to tweet out three or four articles each day, to highlight the best that Leo has to offer (in my opinion). The account started a little over a month ago, from zero, and has grown to nearly 200 followers so far.

December's figures will be more interesting than these, as its easy to get high growth off a zero base. Once things settle and we see what traction this account can make, and if we can generate visibility outside of just "Leo and Hive" people.

A highlight for the last couple of weeks was on this tweet featuring this post by @roleerob. It was noticed and re-tweeted by not only the project account itself, but also by two Founders of the linked DeBank platform.

This is exactly the goal of this project in its early stages, build visibility and seek out content that may get Leofinance noticed.

Alexa.

Two weeks ago, when I last produced this report, our Alexa rank overall was 44,539, and steadily improving. Well I am delighted to report that since then, the trend has continued and here is our current ranking according to Alexa:

Also, exciting to note is that we have now hit 30% of all traffic coming to Leofinance from search results. This is the highest result of the Hive based sites that Alexa compares us to.

In terms of Hive front ends, what I would love to see is Leofinance move up closer to the top sites in terms of Alexa rank: Peakd (16,865); Hive.blog (20,919); and Ecency (22,805). Certainly a push towards 30K would be a great start.

The benefits of Search engine traffic to Leofinance cannot be denied. Here is the chart for the last 12 months of traffic flow from google searches to Leofinance:

Pretty clear that a concerted effort by a few Leofinance members, along with a few random articles being picked up and bringing heavy traffic has made a big difference. On this note, I am delighted to see that @hitmeasap has returned after a short break, and recommend this article of his. @hitmeasap, if you see this post, reach out so I can bring you up to speed with LeoAlpha and hopefully work together on some stuff.

By way of comparison, here is the last 12 months of traffic from Twitter:

Pretty clear from these two charts which is performing better currently. Google is now consistently sending thousands of visitors per day, Twitter just a few hundred. Other sources are minimal currently.

These are the posts that have brought traffic from Google in the past week. The top two spots are both Polygon Matic content. Next is the @handtalk5 Splinterlands post still bringing big traffic, followed by an article by @esmeesmith comparing Polygon and Polkadot. The post by @rmsadkri that I've mentioned previously (in the curation post) is a fairly recent one, and I would suggest if anyone else posts about Invictus DAO that you link that and/or @myfreebtc's post. Cross-linking each others content will reinforce these posts and keep Leofinance as a key source of Invictus DAO information.

In summary, its been a very nice couple of weeks for Leofinance. Rising Hive prices will certainly bring more activity, and now today LEO has also bumped up a bit. The key is to keep the content coming. We saw when Cub launched that activity spiked, and then dropped significantly which slowed the hard work that had been done to that point. I hope that when PolyCub hits it does not have a similar impact.

Thanks for reading, and thanks everyone for sharing and promoting Leofinance content over the last week.

Cheers,

JK.
