Good morning Hivers!

After writing and posting my lastest articles successfully, there was a comment from an accout with 79 score of reputation. As usual, I thought it was same as many introduce post I have seen before then I clicked to the link to see what is in it! And, THAT WAS A FAKE LINK FROM THE SCAMMER.

What then?

7 hours later that day, I visited my blog and saw the bizarre activities, I got many notifications about my lasted activity said that I have transfered more 700 hive to Binance, I have started power down 725.113 hive and so on... then I just realised that my account was hacked.

What did I do?

The first thing I did is about informing and asking my friend @trangbaby about my situation and problem that I got, then she helped me to contact with management board (OCD). At that time, the most scaring things appeared in my mind is not about the amount of hive I have lost, it is about the fear of many accounts would be hacked and all my articles would be deleted because of my ignorance.

Afterthat, thank to her support, I have contacted to the board, received their supports to take my account back in the midnight. I was so moved and felt very lucky because of their devoted helps.. Instead of blaming me, the OCD team guided me step-by-step process to take my account back, It made me feel like I am not alone and we are truly a united family.

After 30 minutes completing those steps, I took my account back completely by changing new password and other keys!

What did I learn from my mistake?

Over 4 months joining Hive platform and got the scammer in the first time of my life, I realize and learn a lot of things when this problem happened.

  • The lack of my ignorance about increasing knowledge.
When my account was created, I was inattentive about the necessary information and knowledge to protect my account as well as its effect to other people in our community. I was easy to think that writing my blog from my heart and have a good interaction to other are enough. But these are not everything. My ignorance which affected other makes me feel very shameful and uneasy.
I APOLOGISE ALL HIVERS FOR ANY INCOVENIENCE AND THE LOSS FROM MY IGNORANCE CAUSED TO YOU ALL!

  • Calm is the most thing that needs to have in anyone when problem happens.
Do not get into the panic because it happened and you could not go back to the way things were. The crucial thing is how to keep your mind sane when it happened. All necessary contact information should be in your list, it will help you a lot when things happen.

  • Be aware of any strange information and sift the knowledge.
When the problem came, I have read some comments said and critized about it, they said it occurred because of my greed. Well, I have no justification for it because only me knows what caused this. I am very appreciated for all the caring from them. All I want to say that always keep the precaution in mind and learn to sift the information and knowledge before deciding to do anything!

All in all, I am genuinely sorry first to Hivers and Hive communities for the problem I have caused. I also express heartfelt thanks to @trangbaby and the OCD team for the supporting and helping enthusiastically.
