This guy did an awesome job. But I just want to add: If you try to conduct yourself this same exact way your results may very, and I mean greatly vary.
You can end up a victim of them entirely, or you could be victimized and then vindicated in the following litigation.
Also, while I think the police do a ton of harm to citizens, I also think that they have a very demanding, difficult, and damaging job. Cops deal with the worst among us on a regular basis and this too contributes to their calloused tact when engaging with the general public.
I hate the police, but also know that they do help people and are an unfortunate part of living in a society. Without them we'd be subject to always having to resort to lethal force ourselves, and that could be a good or bad thing depending. Wish there was an easy way to judge them, but I don't think there is.
