$THGAMING partners with $LOLZ and $PGM — "Mega Curation" incoming!

Welcome $LOLZ and $PGM to the Guild!

@THGaming Guild recently finalized partnerships to conduct token swaps, delegate $THGAMING to curators, and secure regular contributions to the $HIVE : $THGAMING liquidity pool from $LOLZ and $PGM. While we don't have specifics ready to share at this time, we plan to incorporate both tokens (and their communities) into Guild events when they launch.

We're excited to be working with both projects, as they emphasize rewarding members of the greater Hive community for engaging with each other. THGaming is all about community, so it was only natural that we figure out a way to get involved!

What is $LOLZ?

$LOLZ is a tipping, curation and dividend coin all bundled into one and centered around engagement. You can read more about what they do on their website, receive updates by following @lolztoken, and/or read the daily earnings reports by following @lolzbot.

Wut do?

By owning a sufficient amount of $LOLZ (anywhere from 16-1024 $LOLZ), using the !LOL or !LOLZ command "tips" the post you're replying to with 1 $LOLZ token and a fun joke. The more $LOLZ you own, the more tips you can leave each day. $LOLZ also runs a collection of bots that actively curate various Hive tokens using the delegations they receive.

Where lambo?

By delegating HIVE Power to @lolzbot or a wide variety of Hive tokens to their curation bots, such as @lolz.thg and @lolz.pgm, delegators are rewarded with $LOLZ tokens relative to the curation rewards each bot earns each day.

Additionally, owning at least 512 $LOLZ qualifies you to receive daily dividends accrued by the curation bots. Each day, two of the Hive tokens curated by the $LOLZ bots are distributed based on how much each $LOLZ holder owns relative to the total amount of qualified $LOLZ.

THGaming is now actively tipping $LOLZ to funny #thgaming posts (and comments!) within our community from several accounts. These "$LOLZ curators" will be looking for authentic engagement between users within the context of gaming and crypto. We'll also be perusing #meme posts every now and then.

What is $PGM?

PGM (Play Gamer) is a gamer-centric community that began as a tipping token but has expanded to a dividend/tipping hybrid of sorts. But that's not all! PGM continues to grow and expand over time to provide new features and community events. Probably their biggest recent development is the PGM Defi Project handled by the @pgm-curator. You can keep track of PGM news and developments by following @zottone444.

Wut do?

By staking 10-1000 $PGM, using the !PGM command will "tip" both the post you're replying to and yourself with $PGM and a variety of other Hive tokens PGM has acquired (LVL, DEC, SIM, etc.). The more $PGM you have, the more tips you can share each day.

Where lambo?

PGM also offers $SWAP.BTC for those that stake 2500+ $PGM and doubles your tipping rewards upon reaching 5000 staked $PGM! Also, by delegating HIVE Power to @pgm-curator, you will receive 90% of the curation rewards earned by your delegation and receive share of the 400 $PGM rewards pool distributed each week to delegators.

THGaming now has three accounts with the 5000 staked $PGM required to earn $SWAP.BTC and doubled rewards. We will be actively using our daily tips on #thgaming posts (and comments) that feature quality content and/or effort. That means that not every post we curate with an upvote for $THGAMING curation rewards will receive a !PGM tip. If you'd like to be considered for PGM rewards, make sure you tag your posts with #thgaming & #PGM, and make an effort to stand out.

Because we want to maximize our daily tips, we'll also be visiting other gaming communities for top notch content after reviewing #thgaming posts. This will allow us to spread awareness for the THGaming community while rewarding gamers for creating quality content.

Tweaking the Liquidity Pool

As stated in our whitepaper, our ongoing goal is to reach and maintain 150% APR for our current liquidity pool. We're not quite there, but we're steadily working towards it.

$LOLZ and $PGM Contributions

Part of the delay in "dumping" $THGAMING into the LP until APR hit 150% is we're actively pursuing partnerships with various tokens to reward our liquidity providers with. Our partnership with $LOLZ and $PGM involves regular contributions of each token when we refresh rewards every 90 days. We'll continue to announce such partnerships as they are finalized.

Fine-Tuning the APR

We're currently at an APR of 115%-125% depending on who joins/leaves the LP each day. The goal of 150% still remains, but we're tackling it in stages. First we provided $THGAMING tokens, then we finalized a couple partnerships, then we added a little more $THGAMING, and now we're working on additional partnerships. When all is said and done, we should have a stable 150%+ APR with a wide variety of token rewards.

Letting Things Settle

To remain transparent, our current timeline involves taking things a week at a time. This last weekend involved added three new batches of tokens to the LP that momentarily doubled the APR before additional liquidity providers hopped in. We're going to let the APR settle over the week before giving it another jolt, hopefully with new partnerships.

We will continue to develop the THGaming Play2earn Economy; providing support to our Gamers and increasing use-cases for the $THGAMING Token as quickly as possible.
