Now, before explaining what the initiative consists of, we would like to share our joy, after having successfully completed the sixth week of Human Culture: History, for which we would like to thank those who participated with their great contributions and reflections:

What is human development?

For example, according to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), it is a paradigm or model of development that transcends the idea of economic growth, which is assumed as a means to enhance the capabilities and opportunities of people according to their needs and interests. According to Amartyan Sen (2000), human development consists of expanding the options for a creative and productive life through which people can realize what they have reason to value. Hence, other models of development are known, ranging from local, social, sustainable, endogenous to large-scale models.

On the other hand, Human Development is a little known university career at undergraduate level, dictated in some countries like Mexico, Venezuela and others in the world, where the purpose is to train professionals with comprehensive knowledge at scientific and humanistic level to plan, manage, train and plan processes of change based on ethics and the promotion of human rights, focused on various areas of human life, so we invite people who study or are professionals in this area and make life in Hive to strengthen the following initiative which is open to anyone who wishes to contribute their thoughts.

What is this week's Human Development initiative about?

We know that the Human Development that we propose has a broad concept and forms of action to enhance capabilities and expand our options, understood as access to improvements in our good life, for this reason we would like to generate a proposal that links Human Development with the Hive platform, able to transcend the idea of theory and put it into practice, for this you can be guided by the following premise: Imagine you are an agent of change, how do you think the Hive platform (beyond the blog), can transform lives and their environment?

As every week the initiative is totally free, you don't have to answer anything specific, what we have written as generating questions and proposals, are just ideas that help you to orient yourself and you can decide what to contribute in this initiative.

The rules for the initiative are the same for each week:

  • Post with no less than 500 words per languages.
  • If you do it in video format with a minimum length of 3 minutes, use 3Speak.
  • Be sure to use good spelling.
  • Use the hashtags #humanitas and #humanculture.
  • Comment on other entries.
  • Invite another person to participate in the initiative.

Remember:

We seek originality and creativity, therefore under no circumstances do we admit plagiarism, we want to promote critical thinking and healthy debate, during the last few weeks we have managed to demonstrate that as a community we can address issues that may be controversial in principle, or tend towards the controversial, but that if we approach it with criteria, with discursive responsibility and above all empathy and respect, there is no need to polemicize the points of view, always with criteria and willingness of mind we can create deep and thoughtful dialogues collaborating in the construction of knowledge on the web3.

Thank you for your time

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL

Iniciativa: Cultura Humana semana 7: Desarrollo humano
