Desde el primer momento se pensaba que iría a ser un partido de muchos puntos, viendo los talentos de Doncic y Curry, el partido en primeras instancias fue muy parejo y de hecho así fue, hubo muchos lanzamientos desde la larga distancia muy acertados por parte de ambas representaciones pero no fue si no hasta el segundo cuarto cuando empezaron los desaciertos por parte de la visita que fueron aprovechados por los locales.

El equipo de Golden State es fiel a su juego, muy rapido y pasar el balon de manera tal de buscar siempre el mejor tirador que es Curry o Thompson, en ese juego tambien influye a que siempre descolocan al rival, siempre valga la rebundancia sus rivales se va la marca de un solo jugador abordandolo entre varios jugadores, pero estos, los de Golden State se desprenden del balon antes de que estos lleguen pasandoles el balon a un jugador sin marca para que el mismo ejecute el tiro, para que ataque el aro con suma facilidad concretando el punto con exito, por otra parte la experiencia de Green en lo defensivo ha opacado el talendo de los de Dallas quienes a pesar de que poseen un gran talento parecen no tener la experiencia suficiente como la tienen los de Golden State, Doncic y los Mavericks vienen de remontar una serie frente a los Suns cosa que les alienta un poco y falta saber si tomaran esa actitud de la serie anterior para hacerle frente a un experimentado equipo de Golden.
