I've been a bit absent, but that doesn't mean I haven't thought of you, and I constantly check your posts. I congratulate you for all that you have advanced, grown, and above all for the great ideas you have incorporated, and all the people who have joined you.
Well, today I'm joining your "Let's Talk Macramé" initiative created by friend @marleyn, to answer your questions.
Let's start:
1.- Do you know how to Weave with Macramé techniques, since when do you know this technique?
To be honest, I do not know how to weave much in the technique, and that's because I have not proposed it to myself, I have tried, but not with the proper commitment that it deserves, but the truth is that I would be willing to do it.
I have known this beautiful technique for many years, in my house I have always had a little spider who is my mother, she is an artist in the crochet part, she knits in 2 needles, in 1 needle, she makes many things, she has even created very beautiful bracelets and tendrils. And as a good weaver she has also tried to make bracelets with knots and very simple weavings in the macramé part, and of course I have taken some of those simple bracelets to combine them with my quilling charms, and they really look very nice.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers, y en especial a la grandiosa comunidad de #Jewelry / @hive-189504, y a todos los que hacen vida en ella.
Me he encontrado un poco a ausente, pero por ello no quiere decir que no los he pensado, y constantemente reviso sus publicaciones. Los felicito por todo lo que han avanzado, crecido, y sobre todo por las grandes ideas que han incorporado, y todas las personas que se han unido a ellas.
Pues bien, hoy me uno a su iniciativa “Hablemos del Macramé” creada por la amiga @marleyn, para responder a sus preguntas.
Comienzo:
1.- ¿Sabes Tejer con las técnicas de Macramé, desde cuando conoces esta técnica?
Para ser sincera, no se tejer mucho en la técnica, y eso es porque no me lo he propuesto, lo he intentado, pero no con el debido compromiso que amerita la misma, pero la verdad estaría en toda la disposición de hacerlo.
Conozco esta hermosa técnica hace muchísimos años, en mi casa siempre he tenido una arañita que es mi madre, ella es una artista en la parte de crochet, teje en 2 agujas, en 1, hace muchísimas cosas, hasta ha creado pulseras y zarcillos muy bonitos. Y como buena tejedora ha intentado también realizar pulseras con nudos y tejidos muy sencillos en la parte de macramé, y por supuesto yo le he tomado algunas de esas sencillas pulseras para combinarlas con mis dijes de quilling, y realmente lucen muy bonitas.
2.- If you don't know how to make macramé, do you dare to learn and show us something you have made?
As I mentioned in the previous question, my knowledge of this technique is very vague. I have made very simple things in combination with the quilling charms that I make, I have made simple and sliding knots to give a detail to bracelets or necklaces, along with various beads.
The most laborious thing I have done, was a macramé weave, to protect the cell phone cable, I was going to do it with all the cables I had at home, and even with the headphones, but the task is still pending, hahahaha. Doing this kind of weaving takes a lot of time, and requires a lot of patience.
2.- ¿Si no sabes realizar la técnica de macramé te atreves a aprender, y mostrarnos algo realizado por ti?
Como mencione en la pregunta anterior son muy vagos mis conocimientos en esta técnica. He realizado cosas muy sencillas en combinación con los dijes de quilling que realizo, he llevado a cabo solos nudos simples y corredizos para darles un detalle a pulseras o collares, junto con perlas variadas.
Lo mas laborioso que he realizado, fue un tejido de macramé, para proteger el cable del celular, quede en hacerlo con todos los cables que tenia en casa, y hasta con los audífonos, pero todavía la tarea está pendiente, jajajaja. Hacer este tipo de tejidos lleva bastante tiempo, y requiere bastante paciencia.
3.- Do you have macramé accessories? Show us.
Of course, as a good lover of costume jewelry since I was a teenager, I have some necklaces and bracelets made in this technique, I have always liked to wear bracelets, woven anklets, and I have had a variety of them, I used to buy many, some of them have deteriorated from so much use, but I still have some that I still use.
3.- ¿Tienes accesorios de macramé? Muéstranos.
Claro, como buena amante de la bisutería desde que era adolescente, tengo algunos collares y pulseras elaboradas en esta técnica, siempre me han gustado usar pulseras, tobilleras tejidas, y he tenido una gran variedad de ellas, solía comprar muchas, algunas de tanto uso se han deteriorado, pero aún tengo algunas que sigo usando.
4.- What knots do you like the most of this technique?
I don't know the names of many knots, because as I said it is not my specialty. I only know simple knots, but I have been able to observe in the pieces that I have, in photos, and videos on the internet, that there is a great variety, and beautiful things are made with them.
It is really a very complex art, I give great merit to those who practice it.
5.- What threads do you recommend to make macramé? Which is your favorite and why?
I think that the most suitable threads to work macramé, should be waxed threads, since they give protection to the knot, avoid loosening and are easier to work with. I know this because although I do not work with the technique, my mother has done it, and on the other hand for my charms I already mentioned that I usually make necklaces and simple bracelets, so I know various types of threads.
I think that to work macramé you can use different types of threads apart from the waxed one. Chinese thread, snakeskin, mouse tail and jute are the ones I use the most, so I know that they can also be used for macramé, with the only difference that you have to be more careful to adjust the knots so as not to damage the work.
4.- ¿Qué nudos te gustan más de esta técnica?
No conozco los nombres de muchos nudos, porque como dije no es mi especialidad. Solo conozco nudos sencillos, pero si he podido observar en las piezas que tengo, en fotos, y videos de internet, que existe gran variedad, y se hacen bellezas con ellos.
Realmente es un arte bastante compleja, doy gran mérito a quien la práctica.
5.- ¿Qué hilos nos recomiendas para realizar macramé? ¿Cuál es tu preferido y por qué?
Creo que los hilos más idóneos para trabajar macramé, deben ser hilos encerados, ya que los mismos dan protección al nudo, evitan que se suelten y son más fáciles de trabajar. Lo sé porque pese a que no trabajo con la técnica, mi mama lo ha hecho, y por otra parte para mis dijes ya mencioné que suelo hacer collares, y pulseras sencillas, por ello conozco variados tipos de hilos.
Pienso que para trabajar macramé se pueden usar diferentes tipos de hilos aparte del encerado. El hilo chino, piel de serpiente, cola de ratón y yute son los que más uso, por esto sé que también se pueden usar para macramé, con la única diferencia que hay que estar más pendiente de ajustar los nudos para que no se dañe el trabajo.
6.- Can you give us a tip to learn macramé. If you don't know about this technique with threads, with what you have learned so far, what do you think about macramé?
The advice I could give you to learn about this wonderful technique, first of all, is to document well what it consists of, the right materials to use, since, thanks to technology, there are countless easy tutorials with which you could learn. People who have ease of learning and absorb much of what we see, this can be a good way to do it, besides getting the best of the benefits, it is an easy technique, and very nice, we just have to invest time, patience, love and effort, I know the result will be worth it.
7.- When did you know this technique, or if you didn't know it now that you know it, what do you think about this technique?
I have known about it for some years, as I mentioned before.
This technique is really fascinating, and above all very beautiful, you can create beauties from it, as there are endless combinations, knots, intertwined with stones, and other techniques, which no doubt we can get much benefit, either for personal use, gifts on special occasions, as for those of us who are dedicated to sales. I think it is a very nice technique that should be explored and carried out by all those who have an affinity for costume jewelry, handicrafts, and jewelry in general.
8.- Finally, in the next initiative what would you like to talk about or create?
I can't really think of anything specific at the moment. I have liked each of the initiatives or contests that you have presented to us. Keep innovating and surprising us. Hahahahahaha...

6.- Puedes darnos un concejo para aprender macramé. Si no sabes de esta técnica con hilos, con lo que has aprendido hasta ahora, ¿Qué piensas del macramé?
El consejo que podría darles para aprender sobre esta maravillosa técnica, primero que nada, es documentarse bien en que consiste, los materiales idóneos a utilizar, ya que, gracias a la tecnología, existen innumerables tutoriales fáciles con los cuales podrías aprender. Personas que tenemos facilidad de aprendizaje y absorbemos mucho de lo que vemos, esta puede ser una buena manera de hacerlo, además de sacarle el mejor de los provechos, es una técnica fácil, y muy linda, solo debemos invertir tiempo, paciencia, amor y esfuerzo, el resultado sé que valdrá la pena.
7.- ¿Cuándo conociste esta técnica?, o si no la conocías ahora que la conoces, ¿Qué opinas de esta técnica?
La conozco hace algunos años, como resalte con anterioridad.Esta técnica realmente es fascinante, y sobre todo muy hermosa, se pueden crear bellezas a partir de ella, ya que existen un sin fin de combinaciones, nudos, entrelazados con piedrerias, y con otras técnicas, que no cabe duda podemos sacarle mucho provecho, bien sea para el uso personal, obsequiar en ocasiones especiales, como para aquellos que nos dedicamos a las ventas. Creo que es una muy bonita técnica que debe ser explorada y llevada a cabo, por todos aquellos que tienen afinidad por la bisutería, artes manuales, y joyería en general.
8.- Por último ¿En la próxima iniciativa de que te gustaría hablar o Crear?
Realmente en este momento no se me ocurre nada en específico. Me han gustado cada una de las iniciativas, o concursos que nos han presentado. Sigan innovando y sorprendiéndonos. Jajajajaja…
