A beautiful summer day here in the Northern Hemisphere. Sunny and not too hot. Lola was very happy to go for a long walk this morning where she met all sorts of her puppy friends.
We tried to go for a walk along the river trail but she didn’t want to go… there must have been a skunk or bear up ahead and she knew to avoid the area.
For the past few nights she has been afraid to go out at night and sure enough we saw a skunk eating some of the fallen apples.
So we’ll have to do a better job picking those up. If the skunk is there it won’t be long before the bears come around.
Anyway, we had a very nice sunny weekend and did lots of swimming and kayaking.
Have a great week everyone and enjoy as much time as possible out doors enjoying this great weather … it will be snowing in a few weeks.
