Tener una mascota siempre había sido un sueño para mi, en mis 21 años nunca había tenido una porque a mi mamá no le gustaban los animales, siempre había una excusa, como el hecho de vivir en un apartamento, que no lo íbamos a cuidar bien y cosas así. Pero desde hace más de un mes tenemos a una bolita de pelos corriendo por toda la casa y haciendo locuras que nos hacen reír (y a veces molestar) todo el día. Hoy les quiero presentar al motivo de mis sonrisas diarias, al gatito más loco que he visto en toda mi vida y al dueño de mi sueldo en gatarina jajaja, mi gato Rocky.

Having a pet had always been a dream for me, in my 21 years I had never had one because my mom didn't like animals, there was always an excuse, like the fact that we lived in an apartment, that we wouldn't take good care of them and things like that. But for more than a month now we have had a little ball of fur running around the house and doing crazy things that make us laugh (and sometimes annoy us) all day long. Today I want to introduce you to the reason for my daily smiles, the craziest kitty I have ever seen in my whole life and the owner of my paycheck in gatarina hahaha, my cat Rocky.

Rocky llego a nuestras vidas un 20 de mayo, su llegada fue una que no sabia como asimilar porque sabia que a mi mamá no le iba a gustar nada, resulta que mi papá en una salida vio a una gata muy bonita, blanca de ojos azules, quien estaba embarazada de gatitos y como le gustó tanto, le pidió a la dueña que le regalara uno de esos bebés. Cuando mi papá dijo que había pedido un gato me quedé loca, puesto que a el no le gustan mucho los animales tampoco, de hecho, yo quería una perrita y no había podido porque no me dejaban. Pero, cuando el anunció que íbamos a tener un gato, me emocioné mucho. Llegó el día de buscarlo y me arregle para ir por el bebé, a todas estas no sabíamos si era hembra o macho, así que no teníamos pensado un nombre, cuando lo tuvimos me di cuenta que era super lindo, blanquito y con unos ojazos azules.

Rocky arrived to our lives on May 20th, his arrival was one that I didn't know how to assimilate because I knew my mom wasn't going to like it at all, it turns out that my dad on an outing saw a very pretty cat, white with blue eyes, who was pregnant with kittens and since he liked it so much, he asked the owner to give him one of those babies. When my dad said he had asked for a cat, I went crazy, since he doesn't like animals very much either, in fact, I wanted a puppy and I couldn't because they wouldn't let me. But, when he announced that we were going to get a cat, I was very excited. We didn't know if it was a male or female, so we didn't have a name in mind. When we had it, I realized it was super cute, white and with big blue eyes.

No nos habíamos preparado muy bien para tener a una mascota, así que aprendimos mientras lo teníamos. Al principio Rocky dormía conmigo, porque siempre estaba asustado, entonces el se subía solito a mi cama y se quedan acurrucado a un lado mío, dormía toda la noche y se despertaba temprano con hambre. Cuando llego a nuestras vidas el gatito solo tenia un mes, así que no podía comer muchas cosas, primero se mantenía con leche y después ya comenzo a comer otras cosas.

We hadn't prepared very well for having a pet, so we learned while we had him. At first Rocky slept with me, because he was always scared, so he would climb into my bed by himself and curl up next to me, sleep all night and wake up early hungry. When he came into our lives the kitten was only a month old, so he couldn't eat many things, first he was kept on milk and then he started to eat other things.

Al principio Rocky se mantenía escondido, jugaba con el mantel de una mesa y dormía mucho. Ahora es un gato super activo, juega con todo, es muy curioso, se la mantiene mordiendo, salta, corre mucho, a veces se esconde para asustarnos (como pueden ver en los Gifs que les dejo arriba), come muchísimo y le fascina el pescado, como la sardina, el atún, también come su gatarina, que le trituro para que la digiera mejor. Esta en esa etapa que quiere salir a la calle, pero la verdad es que me da un poco de miedo porque este pequeño, así que no lo dejo salir solo y no mucho, para que no se acostumbre a ello.

At the beginning Rocky was hiding, playing with the tablecloth and sleeping a lot. Now he is a super active cat, he plays with everything, he is very curious, he keeps biting, jumps, runs a lot, sometimes he hides to scare us (as you can see in the gifs I leave above), he eats a lot and loves fish, like sardines, tuna, he also eats his catnip, which I grind for him to digest it better. He is in that stage that he wants to go outside, but the truth is that I'm a little scared because he is so small, so I don't let him go out alone and not too much, so he doesn't get used to it.
