Hello my dear friends! Today has been relatively quiet for us. We almost didn't get bombed! It's amazing how the war changes the perception of reality... What seemed to be a problem quite recently has almost no meaning today... However, I must stop otherwise I will drown in a sea of philosophical reflections😁 In the meantime, I have great news for you!
Today I found this cute family eating my cucumbers with gusto! This means that the second duck did her job perfectly! Of course, I said goodbye to cucumbers... but I don't regret it at all. These cute downy balls can cheer up anyone!
As you can see, other birds are watching the ducklings with interest. I understand them! They are really adorable!
The good news is that all ducklings already have a family. I don't usually breed birds. But my friend asked me. She really wants to have ducks in her yard. My duck and drake did an excellent job. It actually happened a little late. Usually chicks appear in May. But the war and the late cold spring made adjustments. In any case, there is still enough time for the ducklings to grow up and fully fledge.
And here is the second family - wild ducks. It is necessary to say a few words about them separately. This is a family photo. The father of the family is a drake in the foreground. This guy spends all day near the aviary where his beloved babysitters ducklings. He took over his watch as soon as she sat down to incubate eggs! In total, she hatched four ducklings. One wild and three ducklings of a domestic duck. A cunning domestic duck has thrown its eggs into the nest! And you know what? Her faithful drake didn't ask a single question why the three ducklings didn't look like him!
Today I also took pictures of the new kittens. Finally, there are better photos of them! And now you can see how cute and lovely creatures they are. Their mom will be here on Wednesday if our plan works. Now she is in a veterinary clinic. 
The rabbit visited the vet today. And oops... she was told she was overweight! The poor thing will have to go on a diet... only hay and some vegetables and fruits... No goodies!
This week is off to a good start because the unfortunate chickens I showed you before are doing so much better. I watched them march proudly around the yard today! 😁
