Today I spent most of the day doing a rather strange thing: I was installing a bathtub in the yard!
But I'm not really crazy and I'm not trying to be original. Everything is much easier. The weather is very hot and my dogs suffer from it. I have long wanted to make a special pool for them. But it's very expensive and now I can't afford it. But we are lucky! My neighbor gave us an old big bathtub. I thought it would be a great experiment! After all, before I start saving money for a dog pool, I have to make sure the dogs will use it.
The main problem with the bathroom was that there were holes in it... These are special holes for installing equipment. I have been thinking about how to deal with this. And now I can give you advice on how to solve such a problem: special tape for tiles! It is not afraid of water and perfectly seals all holes. By the way, it can be used if you have accidentally damaged your garden pool!
I left everything as it is for now. Tomorrow I plan to buy a special coating and stick it on so that the paws of the dogs do not slip. Unfortunately, I didn't think about it right away.
I also advise everyone to close your bedroom door if you are going to bathe your dogs. I didn't make it and now the emergency laundry is waiting for me 😁
I can't say that the dogs were immediately delighted with my idea. Some of them, like Uma (middle in the photo), prefer to cool off by pouring all the water out of the bowl onto my kitchen floor!
And a few words about other animals.
Kittens are successfully accustomed to a new place. I made this conclusion when I discovered that today they had already broken some dishes ... 😁
In addition, they made a hole for themselves. It's good that I knew about this possibility, because the rabbit had already done this before, otherwise I would have gone crazy looking for them in the summer house.
Mother duck and all ducklings are doing well. She was very nervous when I entered the enclosure and even tried to attack me. I chose to move quickly
