DefiDojo.dev: demonstration website to launch your own packs for sale.

It's been a little bit. I'm usually hard at work on Splinterlands stuff these days. There's a lot of projects going around there and we're working on getting multiple things off the ground all at once. I'm swamped...

That said, I'm pleased to announce defidojo.dev. It's a way for users to create their own collectibles and sell them. I've heard about a recent project or two that's done well on Hive by using hive-engine NFTs. I don't believe other project codes are opensource, but good news for you guys- This is opensource. My focus with all the projects I work on is to ensure the users can make money. I figure if I can help you make money then I'll make money too.

What is Defidojo.dev?

Defidojo is a demonstration project of hive-engine.com and tribaldex.com. Defidojo uses the packmanager contract to create packs of cards that can then be purchased, opened, and the NFTs inside of them can be traded. The packmanager contract itself is opensource. The defidojo source code for the front end of the website is opensource as well. You can now use both to get your collections in order, weight them for how they'll open up, and then turn them into packs which can be traded or opened, and once opened the NFTs can be traded on the market.

As part of the demonstration I've put up 50,000 Defidojo packs for sale at $2/pack. No more packs will be available for this series. Once these are sold out, that's it.

There are 4 teams: Android, Bruiser, Mystic, and Ninjas. There are two foil types regular and gold. There are four rarities common, rare, epic, and legendary.

If you'd like to make your own collection of cards for sale as packs inside a site like defidojo.dev and have the hive-engine team support the site, hand hold you through the process, and upload all of this stuff there is a fee. You guessed it: 1000 BEE.

Hopefully, you'll get your card collections ready, launch your packs, sell your packs, and grow your projects for years to come. Hopefully by having this part of the project already built out for you then you can focus more on the games or other parts of what you're doing than simply the earliest stuff of even getting a site like this off the ground.

Use of Proceeds: These go to hive-engine. I don't take a salary out of hive-engine. So, no, I'm not getting any money out of the sale of these packs. I will pay elgecko some money for the packs that sell as he helped create the art. For those of you who recognize some of the art it's from artbreeder and it's all be enhanced or modified by elgecko. The money raised will likely go into hive:hbd pools on Hive engine or maybe some of the funds will be used for additional smart contracts we plan to launch. I'm thinking algorithmic stable coins that anyone can create are high on my list of things to code, but you should assume these funds will create bigger pools on tribaldex.com to facilitate more trading. As it stands tribaldex has traded around 500M worth of Hive. It's a good start, but moar is better!

So, what just happened here?

Uncle Aggy got another opensourced smart contract and website up and running for you to use. You can make your own collectible and sell it on your own front end. If you don't get how powerful that is then you don't understand crypto. If you want to make your own stuff it's 100 BEE burn for the NFT and a small fee for issuance. if you want us to host a website it's free, and if you want our help setting all this up it's 1000 BEE. Hopefully you'll be able to earn several orders of magnitude more than that.

If you don't like the project please don't buy cards or use the site. this is all voluntary, so if you don't like me or the projects I help create kindly just don't use those things.

If you do like defidojo.dev, hive-engine, tribaldex, or any of the other projects I've helped create like palnet, msp-waves, splinterlands, keychain, and some others I bet I'm forgetting please buy packs, trade on the site, fight on splinterlands, join the communities I've built, and vote my witness.

Have fun, and good luck there out there.

Aggy
