I have done it, bought everything I need to just about finish off my bedroom. I was online last night searching for furniture bedside table and a matching set of drawers for under the window. I wanted then to be assembled, me and hubby can't do the flat packs anymore and all the rubbish that comes with it.
I bought matching bedside tables and chest of drawers that are assembled abs cheaper than what I was going to pay.
These are coming around the 10th thankfully after my new carpets have been laid. I am getting my new bed repaired as the men who assembled it haven't done it properly, that's getting done on the 11th, so the 12th of December my bedroom will be finished, maybe I should get someone famous to open my bedroom. Haha.
I have had most of the sat about how the bedroom looks so I gave hubby the choice to choose the bedside lamps, he likes the touch lamps, I found blingy touch lamps that are dimmable and have USB ports to charge our phones.
Aren't they pretty I thought so to until I saw how much the light bulbs are, £12 for 2, ohh well they will still look amazing.
I have been cleaning my bedroom today, I have the wardrobe a good wash and have our new mirror a polish, I hung up clothes then changed the bed sheets. I'm loving how it looks and feels, I definitely feel more relaxed in it which is what the hard work decorating was all about.
Its save up time for the TV I want, I've seen a TV thats on a pole with wheels on the bar, ideal for pulling out when wanting to watch it then push it back into the corner until next time.
Whilst this is all going on I have had to keep up with Christmas shopping, i usually have loads of lend made for each person and what I've bought. I may have to make a list to keep a check on what I have bought. Christmas is usually a time I enjoy, making lists and buying presents being secretive is all part of present buying but this year I really don't mind what happens. I'm trying to get in the mood, my oldest daughter is on the ball and finished with her buying why can't I get any enthusiasm, motivation, excitement towards Christmas. I blame Covid.
I have another repair man coming tomorrow, hes supposedly coming to fix the Internet wifi as its useless, we keep losing connection or its not strong enough to do anything. I think I may change after the contract runs out. Not sure who to use as all the companies seem to be a bad as each other.
Time for bed, pups are yawning and I need my medication so time to relax.
