Yesterday I celebrated my 26th Anniversary. Wooo 26 years and it is such a great feeling to be with my loved one. It still feels to me like I got married yesterday and we are still so madly in love with each other....hehehe.....Life is beautiful with my companion. We have gone through our share of ups and downs, we fight, we cry, we argue, we grumble, and we get on each other's nerves, we do every possible thing to annoy each other but come may whatever we never stop loving each other, and that's the beauty of this relationship which I share with my loving hubby for the last 26 years. I would not want to change a single thing in this relationship.
I am so happy and grateful to have such a wonderful life partner, that he takes care of me for every single thing. There are times when he gets rude, but then I am no less, I do get back with equal force.....hahaha, and I feel that's the fun of the relationship to get going. If everything is too smooth, then there is no spice in life. Last year when I almost lost him, I really cannot imagine what life would have been, but then all is well that ends well and leave the past behind.
We celebrated our day, just the two of us, and that is what I like, to be with him alone and celebrate these special moments with him.

This year I had planned to treat him for the celebrations. I selected a Beach side restaurant at the Chedi Hotel. It is one of the finest hotel in the city and the place is classy. This is one day when I do not want to set any budgets. We both have struggled too much in our lives and then these are the times when I want to celebrate our hard work and not look at how much it is heavy on my pocket. I always select the best place in town for these special occasions.
This place has a beautiful decor and the interiors are so well designed, that one really feels royal in this place.

The Restaurant name is The Beach and it is right on the beach, you can here the water sounds, the soft music and enjoy your dinner in the most exquisite ambiance.
The food was delicious and complimenting the place very well. It is a Sea food special place, so it's best to go ahead with Sea food options rather than any other meat.
We ordered for a Flamed Salmon, Grilled Prawns and then a mix of Fish recommended by the Chef and prepared in his own style, which was absolutely a stunner dish.
This dish of Flamed Salmon was the chef recommendation and it was yummy.
The grilled prawns complimented very well with Risotto and Sautéed Spinach
The chef special catch of the day fish prepared in his own style was the stunner dish on the table with sautéed mixed veggies and mashed potatoes.
The chef served us this entrée which is raw chilled tuna and the desert complimentary from his side, a very sweet gesture.
We celebrated our evening with some South African Rose Wine. It was the perfect celebration day and could not ask for anything more. Feeling grateful and blessed for the life that I have.
