It's an interview with a representative from Women Help Women, (which I know is a cisnormative name, and don't endorse that) an international non-profit that educates and in some cases provides pills for medical abortions, which are low-risk to the extent that they really should be accessible over the counter.
If-- more like when-- Roe is overturned, we will need to be informed about the substance and legality of this medication, because the need for it isn't going to stop by being outlawed (no need really does-- it just goes underground, which by default makes it more dangerous), and as always that need afflicts the poorest people first and most.
So if safe medication to induce abortion is available, people need to know about it. It's therefore not just a good idea but our obligation to learn about it. This podcast episode is a good place to start.
