Hoy llegué del trabajo súper cansada y decidí ver televisión, quizás una película, pensé, al colocar HBO estaba empezando una llamada TOTEM, la descripción la identificaba como una película de terror. Generalmente no soy de ver este tipo de género, la verdad me dan miedo, pero de igual manera sentí ganas de continuar viéndola. Esta no es una producción muy nueva ya que es del 2017, no ha tenido mucha publicidad así que no había escuchado ni leído ninguna recomendación o crítica, pero ahora les contaré mi opinión sobre ella.

Como dije no soy amante de este género, pero de igual manera he visto muchas como para saber cuales dan miedo y de esta película les puedo decir que es una producción en el cual siempre espere que pasara algo en lo que se mostrará este espíritu, en realidad considero que en las primeras 3 partes de la película no vi nada, solo presunciones, manejo de cámaras, ruidos extraños y esto hacia que siempre estuviera esperando para asustarme (es lo que esperamos de las películas de terror), entonces yo diría que es un terror leve.

Hasta este momento estaba acostumbrada a escribir publicaciones de películas que quisiera volver a ver o que había visto muchas veces, pero con esta no es así, no voy a decir que es una película súper mala porque no la considero de esa manera, pero si es al principio un poco lenta y como dije siempre estas esperando que algo pase, pero no pasa.

Entonces, ¿Qué hizo que quisiera escribir sobre esta película? El final. De verdad que me quede loca con esta parte, nunca me lo esperé. Y me encantan aquellas películas que te dan un giro drástico a la historia, eso hace que me enganche así sea en los últimos minutos. Yo no se si mientras el proceso creativo pensaron que la película iba por un rumbo tirando al aburrimiento y se idearon un final en el que los personajes dieran un giro de personalidad alocado, pero en realidad durante esta parte preste mucha atención porque quería enterarme hasta del último detalle. Así que cuando en realidad nos damos cuenta de lo que está pasando en la casa de Kellie, entendemos el porqué de muchas cosas, muchas actitudes que al principio nos parecían, normales!

Opinion

As I said I am not a lover of this genre, but in the same way I have seen many as to know which ones are scary and I can tell you that this movie is a production in which I always expected something to happen in which this spirit will be shown, actually I consider that in the first 3 parts of the film I saw nothing, only presumptions, camera handling, strange noises and this made me always waiting to be scared (is what we expect from horror movies), so I would say it is a mild horror.

Until this moment I was used to write posts about movies that I wanted to see again or that I had seen many times, but with this one it’s not like that, I’m not going to say it’s a super bad movie because I don’t consider it that way, but it is at the beginning a little slow and as I said you are always waiting for something to happen, but it doesn’t happen.

I really went crazy with this part, I never expected it, and I love those movies that give you a drastic twist to the story, that makes me get hooked even in the last minutes. I don’t know if during the creative process they thought the movie was going in a boring direction and came up with an ending where the characters would take a crazy turn of personality, but actually during this part I paid a lot of attention because I wanted to know every last detail. So when we actually realice what is going on in Kellie’s house, we understand the reason for many things, many attitudes that at first seemed normal!
