This is the Lovesniper Retention curation initiative aiming to retain those quality content creators after making their introduction posts. It was observed that after newbies made their introduction posts, their succeeding posts are often ignored. This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. As compilation posts are also done, this will highlight the newbies and will give the community an idea which newbie to look out for.

It all started when I was 18. A new nail salon opened nearby my office. And it had a great opening offer. But sadly she wasn't really good. Sure, if you are a new nail tech, you can make mistakes, but it was too much. Luckily another one opens at opposite my house and she was PERFECT. As I moved, it was too far away, so I searched for a new one. None could convince me, so I tried to make my nails by myself. But I FAILED 😔 My right hand was always a disaster. But I was lucky again and found someone who was really good. I stayed with her a long time. But she closed her salon two times because she got pregnant. After the first child, I went back to her, but after the second I tried the salon in my house (I live in an apartment complex and on the first floor are different businesses: restaurants, a fitness center, and also a tanning salon with a nail tech).

It's been week since my last anxiety. Over the years I didn't experience those kind of anxiety until I gave birth to my son last 2018 and decided to be stay at home mom. I know this kind of feelings were valid as we have what we called post partum depression. It is not easy I admit. There are times that I can't understand myself but there are also times that I know what I feel that way. Almost four years of fighting on my anxiety but I'm still alive and kicking. Thank you Lord for the strength and love that you have always given me in times that I need you the most.

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends. Today I want to share with you a very nice exercise, which has helped me not to lose my way in the hardest moments of my life. Origami, better known as paper folding or origami, is an active meditation practice, I have been doing it for about 20 years and in the most difficult moments it has helped me to channel the pain, anger, helplessness or whatever I have had to face. We all need a little emotional refuge, for me origami has represented that and much more, hence the title of this post because I believe that everything that inspires us to be better people deserves that we devote more attention and time to it.

Since the inception of the human race, there has been a constant battle between those who believe in Gay rights and those who think that being gay is a sin. There have been many studies done on the effects of each side on society, and it is clear that the two can not coexist peacefully.

This has never happened before, Mike has always been top of his game, bagging employee of the month for six months in a row. Everybody liked him, he was even the boss favorite, how could he do something like this? He worked into the meeting room, a bunch of men and women starring at him. The whole board was around for this case.

To give you a bit of context, Keanu Reeves, who plays a young aspiring lawyer, ends up selling his soul to Al Pacino, to get rich - sounds familiar, right?. He ends up losing everything, obviously, including his wife, but somehow he gets back on his feet, defeating Lucifer / Al Pacino for a while. Lucifer acknowledges defeat, but as Keanu starts to rest on his laurels, becoming a bit over-confident, Al Pacino sees a future opportunity. Vanity, my favorite sin. That's how the movie ends.

When you are living in the city, or when you got the chance to visit the city, you will observe how the construction of high-rise buildings nowadays skyrocketed. And for most of us, we really admire the designers (architects/engineers) behind these state-of-the-art designs. We are fascinated and impressed with how they amazingly came up with such brilliant ideas.

Looked like there was no typhoon that passed that week. The sun was back, sky cleared up. You know about being at the sea side is different feeling. I am used to rivers and mountain because that is where we live. Sea excites me. It just water, a vast water, waves and nothingness when you looked farther away from the horizon. It gave me the sense of realization how big the world is. That whatever is holding me at the very place of where I was, there is something out there for me, when I looked straight to the end of the waters. It seems endless, there could be more possibilities that I had to sail and see. Soon, I would be leaving away from this Island again. Away from the comfort of my home. As we sat and walk by the beach, I had my mind freeze for a while about thinking things. I was letting the sunset covered my sight and appreciated how everything went as hoping for the things that comes.
