Today I want to answer questions that I often get asked.

1) Why didn't we immediately leave the city when the war started?

We didn't think it would last long. In 2014, there was already a conflict and the beginning of the war, when Donetsk and Lugansk were separated. They tried to separate Mariupol, but nothing happened. And there was no damage! The fighting was outside the city. People thought it would be the same this time.
We were turned off mobile communications at the beginning of the war. We couldn't find each other. Those. first goal: find your family, loved ones and group up to survive.
The military did not let anyone out of the city, we could not leave. There were no green lanes.
My family has only one car, it was in the garage. The bomb fell next to the garage, the fragments pierced the metal of the garage (5 mm) and hit the car. She burned out.
We had to find a car, we were driving with a friend, in his car.
+there was no gasoline in the city; (needed to find gasoline)
+spare wheels were needed, because in the city and outside the city there were fragments everywhere.
Collect the car for the road. Take blankets, because there was snow and frost outside (even though it is spring outside).

In general, 6 people got into one car: me, my mother, my godfather, an acquaintance (from whom they took the car), two people (who had cars, fragments of bombs destroyed them, but gasoline did not leak out, we drained gasoline from them) .
