Will it really work itself out, or are we used to not dealing with what bothers us?

Reflecting on the situation and facing the discomfort may be the path to a fuller life.

We often delude ourselves into thinking that time will take care of everything and, with that, we are convinced that eventually everything will be fine.

If we don't deal with the things that bother us, they will build up and eventually manifest themselves in other ways, until eventually we may feel slaughtered by what we don't deal with.

"When the circumstance is good, we must enjoy it; when it is unfavourable, we must transform it; and when it cannot be transformed, we must transform ourselves. -Viktor Frankl-

Many of our achievements, we thought we would not succeed. Perhaps if a friend or family member had not practically forced us to try, we probably would not have achieved many of them. Many of the things we enjoy today caused us discomfort. We must be that friend to ourselves who encourages us so much that we are basically forced to try.

We cannot ignore our problems, our fears, our pains or our discomforts. We need to look at the problems and look through the discomfort, the uncertainty and the vulnerability, stepping out of the comfort zone, which is where we can deal with what
bothers us.
When you feel that you are overwhelmed by your problems, try to think that you can deal with them, or at least that you have the capacity to learn to deal with them.
