Hi, my name is Freddy The Flea. No, I mean literally. My first name is Freddy, my second name is The and my surname is Flea. I know, I know. My parents were very creative when they came up with my name. Most of our tribe only have a first and last name. Jack Flea, Edna Flea, A Flea, Ken Flea, Jo Flea, Die Flea, Anna Flea, C Flea.... you get the idea, right? Yes, we all have the same surname. It's said that the Gods bestowed upon us this surname, Flea, which we all learn about in the ancient scriptures, passed down through generations of Fleas.

With that being said, our Flea generations seem to be wiped out quite often, as per The Scriptures. The earliest known generation that bestowed upon us the responsibility to keep our knowledge safe, was what we call Flea Generation A. They were the first generation to write scriptures and it has since been passed down, watered down (literally. I'll tell you about that later), and more information added until it reached us, Generation Z.

Every time a colony of Fleas has been wiped out, it's the next generation's responsibility to keep our species alive. It has been said though, that after Generation Z, there will be a huge reset. No information beyond Generation Z exists, however, in the earliest of scriptures, those who have taught us this language, mentioned that the world beyond Z is unknown. Hence, they named it The Great Reset.

Do I believe that? Heck no! I mean, how? What could possibly go wrong? We live in the land of Hair & Honey! Yes, that's what our world is called, literally.

Hair & Honey is great! It's a beautiful two-toned landscape, covered in towering shady canes, as we call them, that provide us with safety. There's also an endless supply of food. You just stick your teeth into the ground and, voila, food as sweet as honey. I guess that's where the name came from.

Yes, we have a few things to be wary of. There are The Great Shakes, The Clawed Paws, and The Grunting Teeth of Death. Sure, some Fleas have gone too far and got caught up on the wrong side of Hair & Honey, but me, I'm perfectly comfortable in The Moist Pit of Hair & Honey. It's warm, humid and the worst I ever experienced here are The Great Shakes, which is more like a little wake-up call to sink my teeth into the ground to eat again. It's completely unlike The Top Of Mount Furry. That's where that picture came from at the beginning of this story. The last picture I'll ever have of Hair & Honey. Sure, you can see the blue skies from there and get some fresh air, but I've mostly enjoyed the comforts of The Moist Pit. Dark, quiet, and comfortable.

Getting back to the last picture, that day has changed my life forever. Our lives, as Fleas, living on Hair & Honey. It was the day known as The Storm Of Death. A terrible day filled with horrors I never thought would happen. A day my journey into the unknown began.

Perhaps I should have paid more attention to The Scriptures or perhaps this is the way things were meant to be. I don't know. All I have is a story to share, so here we go!
