I tried Ramen for the first time - At Fatty Bao

Hey everyone hope all of you are doing really well. In today's post I want to share with all of you one of my favourite cuisines , Asian food. Well, I do know in Asian cuisine there are several types of cuisines , namely -Korean , Japanese , Chinese , Thai and so on.

From the mellow food of the Japanese to the spicy food of the Thai , Asian food is a foodies favourite.

After watching a few kdramas obviously my craze for ramen started , although I know it's a traditional Japanese dish. Also a disclaimer - please forgive me if I'm wrong anywhere in terms of talking about the food , this is the best we could get in India.

Like every other person I went to an Asian restaurant to just eat Asian food and oh boy was I not delighted to eat all that mouth drooling food. This is the first time I did some food photography and the photos have turned out beautiful. The way you can see the colours in the dish is just so eye pleasing.

Where I went?

As an architecture student I was intrigued to see the interiors of the place. I would say they did a pretty good job at it. It gave off happy place vibes with all those bright vibrant colours. They had different types of art , which I sadly did not document but that's ok because we are here to talk about the food that we had there ! Are you ready ??

Char siu imported BBQ - Pork belly,
BBQ sauce ,green apple kimchi sauce and scallion
- ₹395 ($5.20) - There were two Baos in one serving. The pork in it tasted so good and the softness of the dough outside is to die for. The combination of these two has my heart. This is one of their popular Baos , so it's a must try if you're someone who loves pork. The place is known for Baos.

Peach iced tea - ₹145 ($1.91) - This iced tea was not sweet at all , although it was really refreshing. I did not ask them for extra sugar since I don't like to include sugar a lot in my diet. But overall this was not so bad.

Prawn tempura , cucumber, spicy mayo - Urumaki( sushi rolls) - ₹365/4 Rolls of sushi ($4.81)- This was my most favourite out of all the things I ordered at the restaurant. The first time I tried sushi I didn't like it at all but this time I gave it another try and guess what ? I loved it so much. It makes me want to have it everyday , if only it wasn't this expensive. Cause spending this much for four rolls a day would be too much for a student like me 😅. But nonetheless I'll definitely go back and have this ❤️

Fatty Pho Ramen - Aromatic chicken broth with poached chicken, ginger, fried onions, scallions and black noodles - ₹415 ($5.46) - This one honestly I had high hopes on , and ended up disappointing me. The chicken tasted like tandoori chicken , very Indian flavour. The chicken broth tasted decent with the noodles. Overall the ramen was not so bad.
