Children must drink plenty of water, and parents must instruct their children to avoid scratching rashes.since it would aggravate the situation.

Due to the increasing number of cases in Kolam, the Tamil Nadu government is strictly inspecting families crossing the border. Only those who are asymptomatic can enter the state.

The sickness is predicted to spread further, thus the state health agency has implemented preventive measures in locations where cases have been detected. There is no information regarding tomato flu, often known as tomato fever, which affects children under the age of five.
This virus produces misdiagnosed fever in youngsters, which creates blisters on various regions of the body. The blisters are often red in colour, thus the name tomato flue. The disease's causes are yet unclear. Rashes and skin irritation, joint discomfort, high temperature, and discolouration of the hands and knees are all indications of tomato fever. Other symptoms include diarrhoea, coughing, sneezing, and a runny nose; however, it is unclear if tomato fever is a viral or bacterial infection or an after effect of chikungunya or dengue fever.
